We have not. I don't think we have ever had our hands on a South Beach Geny. From what I understand it's a repaint of the APG2 so I would guess you could expect just as good of performance. If we ever get our hands on one we'll definitely let you all know! Thanks for watching!
240s are surprisingly hot. When they first came out everyone was worried they would all feel dead but that was proven to be false very quickly. Thanks for watching!
@@LeagueNightSoftball agreed but I can’t convince myself to go looking to get one when my current genys are still in great shape and beautifully broken in
We would love to compare that one too! We really wanted to see whether or not the limited release bats were all hype or if they actually performed. Early returns are they are just as good, if not a bit better!
@@LeagueNightSoftball bats are definitely fire but now people are buying 5-10 just to flip and make bank lol. I have all sluggers in my bag but people are killing the market
Hey! We appreciate that. Those are our new jerseys for the NAGAAA world series coming up at the end of the month. Stacey at ASP always does a great job with our jerseys. That's why we keep going back to her!
True, they are the same specs. However, our Apg2 is one of the earlier ones and they supposedly updated the materials a bit to increase durability since then. So, we would say very similar but not the same.
Paint is definitely not the same. I’ve had a chance to swing the Griffey and I feel like the paint they are using now is going to hold up much better. I’ve also got an Everette Williams myself.
We put a diagram in the video just before we showed the swings. Basically 320 dead center, 300 in the gaps (scoreboard), then comes into about 280. There very last 15 feet near the line comes in to around 260. Cam even proclaimed "short porch" when he hit one near the corner. Most of the HRs in this video were between 300 and 325 with a few outliers.
Hey Derrick, thanks for watching. I am not sure how many little league teams are playing on 300' fields, which are the same that the USSSA Conference Pros play on, but those kids must be insanely good!
I’ll be happy to screen shot it for ya. Maybe don’t use a “bomb” emoji on balls hit 275’ I get that you’re promoting the brand but you’re also giving average hitters a false sense of ability
Yes it is 260 or so down the Lines and it goes up as you move from 260 in LF to 300' in CF. The fact is that if you look at where the balls were landing it was over 300' regardless. Most of the HRs you can see landed between LCF to around the Scoreboard. and all over 300'. At end of day they were just comparing bats, not how far they can hit. And its BP, so they are going to swing big. Next video bat comparison lets see how the bat feels when you are trying to place the ball where you want depending on certain situations. End of day nice swings and pretty bats!!!
Whats y’all’s feeling truly between the Apg2 and Griffey beside the weights. I bought a Apg2 but want to grab the Griffey also
Honestly I can't feel the difference. Both swing great. Both are pretty. You can't go wrong.
@@LeagueNightSoftball thank you just picked up a Apg2 wanting to pick up the Griffey and maybe a Apg3 or New Dirty Sanchez
@@jasonhartman1100 I got. 26 Griffey niw lmk
Curious if you have tried the new 240 stamp 12inch genesis bats and if so how they stacked up against the 13 inch models.
We have not yet but would love to shoot out the long barrel VS short barrel.
Brandon Lin? He gave you the Griffey to test? How many hits you guys get on it? Thanks in Ada Vance
Did you guys do a video with south beach? Comparing to Griffey and apg2? Would love to see it.

240 tech is plenty hot out of the wrapper. I hit that bat consistent exit below at 105 to 108. my red balanced iron Man Genesis hits tanks all day

Loving the animations.
Thanks! We thought we would try it out. Plus it's a perfect opportunity to make fun of ourselves.
Love my genesis bats. The new baseball town looks amazing. Love the videos guys. Keep them coming. Good luck at the Naga Worlds
We love the Genys too. All shapes and sizes. Baseball Town is by far the best paint scheme though.
@@LeagueNightSoftball agreed but I can’t convince myself to go looking to get one when my current genys are still in great shape and beautifully broken in
Is the baseball town bat a u-trip bat or USA/ASA bat?
It is a USSSA bat. Endloaded 3/4oz. It is a repaint of the white and red APG2.
Well that settles that same bat different paint lol
Man, that was a dinger show today! Good luck in Texas fellas... but next time make Brandon take some hacks too!
Thanks! We had a ton of fun swinging the Griffey Genesis, it was NICE! We tried getting Brandon on camera, but he is a bit camera shy!
@@LeagueNightSoftball yeah I already gave him a hard time about that 🤣
We all want to see the leg kick Brandon!
You guys are terrible tho
Hopefully you can get your hands on a LS Genesis south beach bat. And perhaps compare it to Griffey, Everett and APG2.
We would love to compare that one too! We really wanted to see whether or not the limited release bats were all hype or if they actually performed. Early returns are they are just as good, if not a bit better!
they're all the same bat they're just different repaints. South beach, Griffey and apg2 are all .75 EL.

So close to the raffle. Me waiting patiently 😅
We are itching to give this bat away!! Can't wait to get Pure some love and have more folks check them out
HTF can anybody swing a 25oz bat?
It's pretty easy actually, but we find we get better results with 27oz bats.
You need to get some Sr bats for myself and Uncle J to swing and try!!! Bat Flip BP-Got any Sr bats?
Bat Flip BP has sent us a senior bat. We'll be swinging it in the near future!
@@LeagueNightSoftball FYI young kids dont need to swing a Sr bat. LOL!
Kids swings and us Old guys swings are way different!
Definitely one of the prettiest hats that @BatFlipBP has put out!
Their merch is top notch. We really need to get on some of that also...
All those nukes on a little league field 😂
Those must be some powerful little leaguers!
Where are your videos? :)
Sure, the bat is pretty, but I want to talk more about Jason wearing one of the prettiest jerseys I've ever seen.
