Anything in excess becomes a liability. If you can smoke weed and not let it consume you then by all means smoke it. But most people end up smoking everyday and you will eventually get consumed by it. Smoke weed don’t let the weed smoke you.

I'm currently two days away from my first month sober from weed in 26 years and I am starting to feel great. My breathing is SO much better, my energy level is off the charts, and I am constantly looking forward to achieving new goals for myself, no matter what they may be, financial, physical, or emotional.
The main problems have been my insomnia and my attitude. I still feel anxious and emotional like I could punch someone's teeth down their throat for looking at me funny, but it seems to be getting a little bit better day by day. I also had a horrific nightmare last night where I envisioned a murder scene at a high school. I saw massive blood spatter and a severed foot, and it was so vivid and real, I woke up and instantly grabbed my pistol from the drawer by my bed. Then I realized, I was laying in my bed. I also had a dream last week where I did cocaine in my dream and it was so realistic, I woke up feeling guilty I had relapsed on drugs...and I don't even do cocaine!
Anyone who tells you that weed or "medical" marijuana is fine and that weed is not HORRIBLY psychologically addictive for some people is a flat out lying, charlatan scumbag. I had been regulating my attitude, my appetite, and my sleep with weed for over two decades. I'm not through it yet, I still have much work to do, but I am ready for the challenge.
I'm not trying to say cannabis is the worst drug ever, or has absolutely no use at all, some people can achieve while using it recreationally, I unfortunately am not one of those people and I had to admit it. If you are reading this and trying to quit as well, you are worth it and you can do it!! If I can put it down, ANYONE CAN!

@@curefied You can do it if you try! One day at a time, man. Then the next thing you know, it will be a week clean. Build on that thought. Cut the triggers out and friends who you burn with. I'm still fighting myself. The urge to smoke is still very strong for me as well. I just have to stay occupied and busy.
Jogging helps me not want to smoke again. When I get short of breath from running, I hate what I've done to my lungs with weed. I literally had a dream last night about growing and smoking weed. I woke up this morning and thought I had relapsed on weed again!
I'm six weeks sober today and it feel like its been six years. Aside from the dreams and the weird sleep, I must say I feel better and I've had people tell me that I look better and I seem happier overall like I used to be when I was a kid. I also have lost 15 lbs. by not overeating McD's all the time stoned.

I started smoking senior year of high school. I’m now in my senior year of college and I’m gonna have about another 2 years till I graduate because my grades have been subpar and I transferred colleges. It’s not entirely weeds fault but it definitely didn’t help. I just went to my friends house in a different state for 5 days and their whole family is sober. I felt pathetic having nonstop urges and insomnia. I even tried to walk a mile away while we were shopping to sneak of to a dispensary and stopped myself halfway there. I’m starting to feel better now at about day 7. That vacation was an eye opener because I didn’t realize that they could live happy sober lives. Next time I visit them I don’t want to feel as pathetic as I felt this time.

I feel so good now that i've got over the withdrawals, and I feel like I have so much more energy and motivation. Awesome video! I genuinely love weed and don’t intend on quitting- I think part of the balance for me is not partaking for 3 month chunks at a time to reset. I feel like weed can bring people together and it helps me enjoy the world around me to a greater extent. I’m in college and am surrounded by other successful people who smoke weed. The key is like u said, to not let it take over your life or stop you from achieving your long term goals

This is amazing brother, very motivating, screams self discipline and self control 🚀,
I have a question bro, during your withdrawal stages did you experience any cognitive symptoms while coming off, eg memory issues, difficulty processing information during conversations, issues articulating thoughts ? forming new thought patterns ?
I really like to hear your withdrawal story, maybe covering the cognitive and physical aspects of your withdrawal, it’s good to hear that significant side of your story, as people are on that significant part of the journey.

I would say the why is the biggest part of your habits changing. If you don't have good conviction to reason reason with, then you're likely to fall back into your old patterns. A good feeling has to come from somewhere in order for you to feel good. Therefore if you're wise strong enough typically you can fight through the cues and other causes that bring you back to your habit. But removing the cues and other causes will really help as well lol.

Sorry that happened to you, man. I had been growing for the past 16 years too. I know all about the fear an loathing of growing the dank while you are not supposed to. It almost gave me a serious form of psychosis to be honest. My friend got busted growing in 14' and it caused me to smoke and over eat even more than normal to the point where I started isolating terribly and making dabs form the dank nugs I grew just to keep getting high. Currently 2 days away from 1 month sober cold turkey, the first sober month for me in 26 years...

All these videos about the benefits of quitting weed... but to be honest I really miss the buzz I used to get from it. Being sober all the time really sucks, especially if you're like me and you don't have a job or a social life.
The only reason I don't smoke it now is because after roughly a year and a half of smoking I could no longer enjoy the high, I started feeling panicky and out of control, like I was going a bit weird mentally. Ever since then I became afraid of smoking it, I tried again several times but always got the same unpleasant reaction from it.
I really wish I could just enjoy it again the way I did when I first started smoking. That pure sense of bliss and tranquility, the hysterical laughter, the munchies etc.
It made life so much easier.

I have to be honest. Been smoking weed over 20 years now, and I'm not going to stop. For me this is daily. I do an ounce a week. I own and run my own business, have a wife and 4 kids, moved us to paradise and go to the gym 6 days a week stoned af. No junk food (count macros), no drugs (the bad stuff) and no couch surfing. I know I'm the exception, but not having willpower shows your mind is weak. Weed is like cigs or alcohol. If you can't control it, it'll control you.

I feel like it may be perceived as that because it’s not yet socially acceptable throughout all of North America (or on a global landscape).
Potentially that comfort of doing something that was previously illegal makes it easier to do other ones that are.
For example we don’t call other drugs like alcohol, nicotine, or caffeine. Gateway drugs.

@jebbush9611if you smoke every single day yes you’re going to get numb & barely even get high anymore. These types of videos are pointless because weed is supposed to be used in moderation.

I am just wondering WHY you need to put so much weed and smoking supplies in the video. I mean, logically, people who want to quit, or are in the beginning stages of quitting will most likely watch this. Why trigger them with images of the drug they want to quit? Seems a bit like cheap clickbait, at the cost of actually being helpful.
