These are three giants of "new music" or "electronic music" or "music for the new age." They combine melody with what only synthesis can achieve allowing the mind to travel to new places where waves of beauty flow seeking the vast ocean of space...
same here and more. UN has a reputation for a slightly "new age" feel but I sense a violent political country on the top there...music is nice, even with subliminals =)
I think Fortuna release was made in first place, because these tracks have to be removed to continue distribution, because Richard Burmer reused his tracks in his own album. These are his solo tracks and they are actually quite alien to this album. 1990 version is more ambient.
@@blusmahn original 1987 German pressing was almost unknown and not accented until some years ago. We still haven't put a hand on that edition. But in fact it should be virtually identical, except artwork.
A Masterpiece recording, Story from the Rain is quite epic

I remember this. I was in high school at the time.
I LOVE this, got it when it first came out!!
A classic.
Will never forget it.
Still the favorite of my collection.
Excellent!!!
First song has a Richard Burmer feel to it. He is missed a lot by me. I'm a huge Braheny & Roach fan as well.

39:22 is one of my favorites above all - R.I.P. Richard 🍁

@@vinyltogether - thanks for filling in the gaps, this whole album is a rare find.
❤
@@vinyltogether This Innovative Communications release was the first version except with different cover art.

Whosoever honors Steve Roach, I honor.

This music could be easily used in the early "Unsolved Mysteries" episodes. Same vibe.
