I understand if child is adult at the time of application then this rule does not apply. The child should have lived half of his/her life in UK to qualify.

Hi, I am currently on a student visa in the UK, and my dependent partner and children’s are with me on the same visa. If I switch to a Skilled Worker visa under occupation code 6135 after 11 March 2024, will my dependents be allowed to stay with me in the UK?

Dear Yash, do you offer paid consultations for family visas? My 16 year old son is a British citizen, and I am a Russian citizen with a German permanent residence permit under Directive 2004/38/EC, protected by the withdrawal agreement. We moved to Germany when he was one. After Brexit, he moved back to the UK for studies. I'm currently in the UK on a six-month visitor visa. How can I switch/apply for a family visa, like the Parent of a British Citizen Visa or Reunion Visa? Many thanks, Angelina

Hi Yash, thank you for the details. With what we understand, my kid who is in London since June 2019 and she completes 7years of continuous stay in 2026 Jun at the age of 17. We will apply for ILr for my kid then. Post that we will apply the dependant visa as parents. But what happens to our dependent visa once she becomes 18 years please?. Will our dependent visa will still be valid?. Please confirm.

    Hi,
    1. My child was born in India and he is in UK from 2017 in ICT (GBM) Dependent Visa. Is he eligible for settlement status.
    2. I heard that the chance of getting the 5 years Visa for a child born outside of UK is very less
    3. Home Office doesn’t issue full 5 years Visa, they issue 2.5 years each. Is that correct?
    4. The cost mentioned in video is for 5 years or 2.5 years?
    5. Can I get the contact of yours.
    6. My child is under 18 years, and he was out of UK for 20 days on holiday within 7 years of stay in UK. Is he eligible for the 5 years route, or the away from UK for 20 days will have an impact on the break.
    Please let me know.
    Thank You
