That's a great question actually. The answer is pretty boring tho... TLDR; I gave myself obsidian to create a Nether Portal to set my spawn point in the Nether so the series could be possible to start. There's no actual way to make a world that starts you off inside of the Nether in VANILLA Minecraft with no mods(not that I know at least), so behind the scenes before Episode 1 starts, I went into creative mode to give myself obsidian to make a Nether Portal, set my spawn point there using a respawn anchor and then set the chunk border using the /worldborder command.
hmm the only reason i set that rule in the first episode was because of how hard it is to survive with all of the mobs constantly attacking you... but now that i spawn proofed the chunk and it's gotten much easier to survive maybe I'll implement that idea next episode

tbh i dont think you should recharge with glow stone would make the series more interesting that u only have a set amount of lives 👍
