The reason MC1 was $40 instead of $30 like the modern Legendary Collections is because of how sought after Exodia was at the time. The head was $75, so the MC1 reprint was a HUGE deal.

I still have my book casing of Master Collection 1... granted the magnetic lock on it is in terrible condition after the amount of times my younger self opened it 😅but seeing it again here really brings back memories, so thanks for doing this opening
I don't know if you know this, but heat presses for graphics on custom t shirts are exceptionally reliable at flattening cards. Just put them under a paper tower and press down (similar to an iron) and they'll flatten right out.

Had the pleasure of opening 2 OG legendary collections a long time ago. One of my favorite things I've opened, so I'll have to go with that one.
If the cards are bending down like that (picture bending inward), put them in a tupperware with a desiccant for about a day. If they are warped the other way, wet a tissue or sponge moderately, put it in a smaller tupperware or beaker, and place it in there with the cards also for about a day. Hope this helps someone.
Put the promos under some weights with a humidifier in the same room, you can easily get them flat if you leave them long enough.
I remember seeing that original legendary collection at my local trading card shop and wanting it so bad just because of how cool the binder looked! It's crazy to see how expensive they are now.

Legacy of Darkness was one of my favorite packs of all time. Tyrant Dragon is one of my all time favorite cards because it looks like a traditional European Dragon.
As for a card game I have no knowledge about, its super fun to watch get opened! Love the vids

Going by the last master collection opening, it will get this win. New legendary collection does have much better rates though

I think the binder would have been cool if they had included rings like an actual binder to hold cards but i still like the idea of being able to hold onto the cool shiny binder rather than throwing away another empty cardboard box like the 25th after opening, the included promos with the binder are also so cool

That old gigantic binder is so iconic and very nostalgic. Also, it's time for Konami to print Labyrinth of Nightmare and my favorite set known as Legacy of Darkness.

I would absolutely love if they printed a Legendary Collection 25th Volume 2 with LON, LOD, PGD, MFC, and AST. Don’t know what the promos would be, but who wouldn’t love that?
My vote will be for the Master Collection 1. I don’t recall ever seeing this thing when it first came out so my curiosity for the unknown has the better of me.

What Ruxin says is true I grew up through the years Yu-Gi-Oh was made and IOC or COD were not released till way later.
Master Collection 1 is such a cool product, I wish I picked one up back in the day, but I just couldn't afford it.
