We S2000 owners are now confident that with proper care our S2000 might hit 1,000,000 kilometres.
Easily! 1 million kms is no sweat for an S2000 that is taken care of!
Mine is 20000 miles and same car but eu
That’s the stock exhaust on there. Being it’s an AP1 it’s almost guaranteed to burn oil so I hope the new owner keeps up on that. Some of them burn up to a quart per 1000 miles. But this one looks great for that high mileage! Gives me good hope for my 104,000 mile 03 I picked up a few months ago
I did not experience any oil burning at all during our ownership! Unfortunately it has sold otherwise I’d love to do a compression test on the motor and see the results, but it certainly ran strong! I posted a few other videos on our channel about it
This makes me feel good about scoring an AP1 with only 35K miles in November of 2020. It's effectively a 20 year old brand new car!
No kidding! That's a great car and very collectible!
Don't you think it's hard to trust that the milage of a fairly old car is only 35k miles?
@@paulsamuel3226 Not at all. I know the previous owner.
This video puts my mind at ease. Thanks. I own an '06 with 58k miles. I bought it with 31k 6 years ago. Nice to know that just frequent oil changes along with regular maintenance pretty much guarantees problem free fun.
Glad it helped! Don't be scared of driving your car, they are very reliable vehicles even with higher mileage!
I think ill be fine with 22K miles right? LOL
You said abs codes buy not communicating or causing any lights , how would you solve that?
Several possible solutions. Clear the code and it may not return. Replace a part. Could be wiring/ something loose etc. Probably not too complicated to solve on a car like this.
do the same with a BMW z3...........and no this owner dosnt took care on this car. This is the testament to japanese build quality.
I wish I had a Z3 with 500kms and I would for you but I don’t! Thanks for watching the channel and the suggestion!
@@IMCARS it was ment ironicaly......ther want be any z3 with 500000km and still running fine. That was my message.
@@gaboaaa23Great! I was thinking the same thing... Hard to find a BMW with 500,000+ kms on it!
bought the car will send you the transformation
Can't wait to see it!
check insta
@@jamedoan5478 Awesome! Thanks for sending those to me!
i like the raptor at the beginning!!!
Me to! An awesome truck we put a video out on not long ago!
205k in my 01 so far loving it so much
Great choice, great vehicle, you have lots of life left in it!
Good work! Curious what a compression/leakdown will be on a half a million mile F20C. Pics of the bores will satisfy my scientific curiosity.
Thanks! The car is sold otherwise I would have loved to do a compression test for you. But I never noted any oil burning or anything weird so I imagine the engine had good compression!
@@IMCARS my dream car. how much did it sell for
@@freznostate How much do you think its worth??
@@IMCARS 9k usd tops
I bought a 2006 S2K 11 years ago. It burns almost no oil and I only changed 1 caliper. The rest was just regular maintenance.
Great to Hear! They’re super reliable cars
Snow! I am over here on Vancouver Island in shorts and tshirt enjoying 24 deg. I wonder if this car can go to 1 million kms! 2000 S ack!
It is snowing here today! Crazy! I bet this car can make 1 million kms easily with proper maintenance
@@IMCARS Wow snow still! Looking forward to the next update
do you have any ford inspection videos you can do
Bring your F150 by and we will do a video for you Rick! Our lead tech Adam can’t wait to get his hands on it!
@@IMCARS ok
You sure that engine hasn’t been replaced? Kind of hard to believe someone swapped an ap2 valve cover on this for no reason. Usually people who are using these for racing purposes make that switch, which leads me to believe this motor is an f22 that was swapped in
The engine is original to the car! Thanks for commenting and watching the channel, please consider subscribing to support us as we get super close to 10,000 subs!
Was this recently sold in ON?
Yes it was!
Can't wait to see what you're doing with it!
We have an update video coming soon for you!
I got 156,768 miles on my 02 and darn thing runs like new.
Oh yeah! That’s barely broken in! Enjoy the drive, it’s got lots of life left in it!
190k miles. still strong. only replaced clutch so far.
Nice! This one is sitting at 310k miles and running strong!
@@IMCARS I just msg u other video and dont let this car go. believe me ive had my s2k since i was 20 and its been 8 yrs and this is a solid s2k. the best and special part its dat it hasnt been abused!
LIKE I SAID BEFORE NORM, GET A OLD TOYOTA 4X4, SWAP THAT BODY TO IT, 35" MUDDERS, SWEET WRAP, EXHAUST
BE FUN 👍🇨🇦🤌
Keep it
We have an update video coming soon!
Drive it to a million
Great plan! The new owner is doing just that and loving it!
ill buy it 10k let me know
This thing looks almost as nice as my 100000 km S2000 underneath! (shown in this video ruclips.net/video/9UyrDj7e2O0/видео.html) Really surprising, especially for a Canadian car. Do you know the story behind it?
Also, telling by how bright red the valve cover is, I'm guessing the engine in this car was replaced at some point. Many seem to go out around 150-200k miles, and they all have cracking valve cover paint well before then.
Awesome, thanks for your comment and watching the channel! We do have some more videos about this S2000 on our channel, feel free to check them out!
