Positional asphyxia is not the only factor in the death of the bus driver.
Looking at the dramatization - his legs were folded up behind him - that can only happen if both legs were dislocated at the hip joints, and that requires a lot of force, and would cause massive haemorrhage into the pelvic cavity.

The bus driver...that poor, poor man. Nobody should have to die like that, it must have been utterly terrifying for him. The punishment just didn't fit the crime & why the victims last moments are not taken into consideration I'll never understand. It is however, considered in Plane crashes as "pre-impact trauma", as in the fear that the passenger suffered prior to impact.

3-6 years for killing a pregnant woman because your meds “make you feel yucky” so you don’t take them. A diagnosed epileptic choosing not to take your treatment and actually duping doctors into saying you’re seizure free on MULTIPLE occasions after being in a wreck. THAT is part of what’s wrong with the justice system… he should have gotten at least 18 years, one for every year that father has to live without his child as well as multiple fraud charges and the death of the woman. Seriously…3-6 years….

My son in law had his first seizure while driving at 70 MPH with my daughter and two young boys. His legs went stiff on the gas pedal and he accelerated to 90 MPH and sideswiped a semi twice. My daughter could only steer. The semi kept them from going off a cliff! When he regained consciousness a minute later, he was able to stop. He drives for a living and his doctor decided he fell asleep. After two more years, it happened again, while driving, though much slower. That was last week... We have to turn him in. Because of this man's negligence he killed a woman and her unborn child. I can't believe the judge in that case blamed it on those who gave him the license the first time. So bf should have been charged as well. Narrator said at the summary the driver had "changed his mind" about the deal when it was already established that he went there intending to rip her off in the first place so no changing mind on nothing he was doing what he set out to do..(bf said he was watching out for her.. no, he was making sure no witnesses).

Why are people who murder getting so little time in prison? 3 to 6 years is nothing for taking someone's life. The court needs to look at other factors such as a mother and baby's death; how much longer in life would they have lived. Plus what about the dead baby who could have had generations of children. It just does not make sense that lives are worth nothing in the court of law. I am so sad for the families who do not get full justice in this life. On judgement day God will bring true justice among people- it is just sad people have to wait for the full weight of justice to take place. I hope the families find peace for now.

      Good point "notyouravgperson"😉
You are right about the police. They have to "prioritise" what they investigate, and therefore a lot of cases they work on cost many hours of investigation work all while updating and working cases from other accidents or incidences or even from other police departments. So basically a lot of work must be done and often things are rushed or put back in the "unsolved" or "ongoing case" filing cabinet. These cases are some times "solved" out of pressure from the media, or pressure from town, or county officials or state officials, but mistakes are made, and they are made intentionally to hasten the outcome of a case, so it can be lawfully filed...which looks good for the people and town, and court.
With that said, I think if a accident happens where life is lost, and it's proven that no evil or deadly intent was found then I think the person who caused the accident may be charged according to whatever driving, speed limit, or any law they broke which started the chain of events that caused the accident.
If said driver was intoxicated, or high, or driving from the back seat while producing RUclips videos😉, then they should be charged accordingly, which may turn into a "plea deal", where a potential murder case for example could be sort of "traded" as offered by the court for a "guilty" plea by defendant.
This "plea" saves time and money....and more than that, it reduces the chance that extra evidence could be presented which may cause the case to take a completely different route, leading to more exposure, more court, and time, which is money, and the plea deal also signs his or her signature as guilty, but typically of a lesser charge.

I think driving experience needs to start early in life in order to develop skill, responsibility, experience, and safety. My father was driving his farm tractor as young as 10 years old. Parents need to make this a priority so that by the time they actually set out to get a state driver's license they have that experience of coordinating the dozens of tasks we take for granted and sensibility regarding speed and driving conditions. The idea of asking a 16 year old to learn how to drive a vehicle and be on the road alone in the midst of puberty, raging hormones, fluctuating emotions, experimenting with alcohol/drugs, and still developing their understanding of consequences is just plain crazy. Take your kid the moment they are competent with fine and gross motor skills get them in something that teaches them to coordinate, visual acuity, safety, control, and basic knowledge. It can be scooters, skateboards, bicycles, roller skates, and ice skates. Get them on a riding mower, golf cart, or go-cart. Help them to be smart about how to operate on different surfaces (streets, off-road), different weather (high winds, rain, snow, ice), different times (morning, dusk, after sunset), and different speeds (highway, school zones, parking lots). Make sure your kid is very comfortable and competent long before they go for that permit. Accidents happen, but they can be reduced.

I had an issue when the Police stated that I hadn't braked.
It was a single vehicle accident, and I was the only person in the vehicle, and I was injured. I had to be cut out of the vehicle.
All I can recall is lying with my head out of what was once the driver's window, and thinking "Is the road wet, or just cold?"
    Then it was lights-out again.
The wreck "got lost", but I managed to track it down after being released from hospital. I could not believe how badly that crappy SUV was mangled.
Oh, BTW: Airbags hurt! Broken nose, 2 black eyes and a fractured cheekbone.
Seat-belt broke my ribs and ripped my shoulder to bits. This happened back in 2015, and I still suffer the effects to this day, even post-surgery.
Parts of the car were found over a year later about 75 metres up in the bush land.
Police documents stated that I "hadn't braked", as there were no skid-marks.
    Ummm. ABS???
I didn't recall any of the crash.
    Head trauma can do that.
Thrown out of Court, and insurance paid out.Took bloody months, and a lot of $$$.
ABS shouldn't LEAVE brake marks if it's working, as this was, having been fully serviced 10 days before, after a brake hose burst.
    Just saying.

I didn't need the thigh marks on the car to tell me that Stuart did this intentionally. I mean, I find it pretty coincidental that he just happened to go off the road just enough to scrape her off using a tree - the road was pretty straight, not very curvy, and even accelerating really fast away should not have caused a wreck like that. He knowingly dragged her to the tree to bump her off but the force caused his own car to wreck into another tree himself.I feel like it's very valid to question why it was that he went off the road on a road like that at all.

That young Anglo-saxon man therein clearly lied about killing that 16,. yr, old girl in a drug deal gone wrong, and gets a second degree manslaughter charge, and was only sentenced to two to fifteenth years in state prison. That means that said man would only serve two years in state prison, if that. Save, that he dosent get in additional trouble while in state prison and or violate his parole terms and or conditions while on parole. So tell me was justice served in said case, or was the defendant or one of the defendants family members, really well connected to a high profile judicial authority within their community, or connected to any another high standing polotical figure and or authority. That one thing for sure and that is that said young man's sentence amounts to a slap on the hand, which therein reveals the shocking double standard. That has long been the normal course of action. That both in Ventura County and throughout America's superior court Justice system. That is especially true, when as revealed herein, when it comes to the special treatment that afforded in our superior courts, that strictly to Anglo-saxon population. Where herein it is commonly understood that if a American with Mexican ancestry or a African American were charged with the identical crime. That they would expect to be sentenced to at least 25, yrs, to life, that by all of the superior court judges accross the U.S.A.....

I disagree with story #1. The girl gave the bag of pot to the driver, he took it and put it either in the passenger seat, or center counsel, then told her, "I'm not going to pay for it!", so she tried to dive in through the window to get it back, just as he hit the throttle to ditch her. As the car picked up speed, her body blocked his view from being able to see where he was going and he glanced off of the tree, wiping her out and off of the car, then couldn't stop in time before running into the other tree. See? Pot DOES kill! It should be OUTLAWED unless it is distributed from a licensed doctor prescription, otherwise there WILL BE MORE deaths because of this garbage.

    • @nevaeha4048
      @nevaeha4048 21 день назад

I believe he intentionally tried to knock her off of the car maybe not intentionally kill here but at least hurt her enough to get her to let go. I do agree though that it should be outlawed outside of medical use
