I agree with both of you. I live in California. I would be taking to you the entire time just to hear your accent! Beautiful cut on a beautiful model. Do you have to have or is it better to have a certain thickness or type of hair to pull off the style? I have don’t have a lot of thick hair and it can be fine. Typically can this type of hair work with this cut, without looking flat or lifeless? I know you used products, which I do too.

Why is everyone saying she's ungrateful and has attitude SHE'S A MODEL part of her job is to play around with looks to find what fits her and her job, so she doesnt need to love every look plus she's in a video so she might not be trying to disrupt him, when i get my hair done i don't talk to them much, she's still responding to him and laughing along, people need to stop!

My mom could. She was a hair dresser and taught beauty school. As a matter of fact, she gave me a pixie cut when I was three yrs old and I hated it!!! I looked at it when she was done cried and hid in the closet!!! It took my uncle and my dad to coax me out of the closet. Lol
@@kimholcomb6943 My hair was as short as it could possibly be when I was young. Some girlfriend of my uncle’s did it - not sure about hair salons - this was the early 50’s.
I freaked out whenever I had to have my hair washed ( don’t ask - terror of something that didn’t exist ) so they kept it as short as possible.
And I loved it. The shorter the better, less washing.
Even now at 68, I still love short hair.
Why - because my hair is so thick and poker straight, I can do nothing with it when it’s long.
I have 4 sisters and they all have long hair. I am the only one who suits short hair. High cheekbones, I think. I tried growing it out at the request of my teenage granddaughter. No one else cared, so I did.
Nightmare!! I think it got thicker. So hot! But when I put it up, it irritated my neck and gave me ( as usual ) a headache. I think it actually is thicker because I have white hair and I think the hair shaft is stiffer.
It’s something and not my imagination. Plus, I am a swimmer.

So off it went. I am getting this haircut - this girl has my hair - thick and poker straight.
And I will do it myself. Not chancing Covid, ( Omicron ) and am now a poor pensioner. Been cutting it since covid and my husband is impressed.

I know when I had my issues with being shy, I would be very quiet and I'm sure many people thought I was snobby but that is so far from the truth with me. Thank you for telling me I'm a nice person. I do give people usually the benefit of the doubt and if they show me otherwise, the benefit goes out the window.😊

Sinead Carpenter thanks for clarifying. Sometimes we comment without the proper context. I don't get to change often so I would have been over the moon. However, if that was the third or fourth change in a month I probably would have had a similar reaction to yours. Thank you for sharing your why.

I’m not a professional stylist, although I do love to color hair!! And trying to up my skills on the cutting.
I got an undercut in August and the stylist butchered my hair! Uneven undercut and layered so much, that the bottom inch and a half was so thin that you could see right through it!! Not blended well and some layers were about a 7” difference, from the ends.
He left me with hardly any hair at all... coming from hair down to the bottom of my ribs or further. 🥺

I have a shaved undercut...I've had this haircut for a year and I end up cutting it myself because I can't find anybody in a salon that can cut a pixie!! It's insane!!!
Stacey chafin I have thick curly hair and it costs me a fortune to get someone who knows what to do with it.
I still end up going home and messing with it after, so now I do it myself!
This is not what we used to call a pixie. It's a modified wedge.
I have had the same trouble too trying to find a good hairdresser in Perth . You go in and tell them what you want and never get what you want I hate going to the hairdresser. If anyone no of a good hairdresser in Perth please let me no. It is insane.
My sister tried to get a cut like this and they left the back and sides long..said she could always cut more next time. It ws so weird. I kept trying to tell the sylist that I knew my sister would end up having trouble styling it the way she cut it. But my sister caved and went home depressed with her cut. They always give older ladies the "older lady" styles. My hair is long and until I can find a good stylist I am not doing anything to it different.

I live in Naples, Fl. and have experienced lots of haircuts by people who have no idea how to cut hair. Everytime I walk out of a salon I want to cry and it takes me weeks to grow back the blunder just to get the same thing again. How can a person in Florida find a great hair cutter? I am going again tomorrow to have my hair trimmed and hate the thought. Would love to cut it myself at this point. Could not do any worse

Solveig Freeman I always suggest searching on Instagram for a stylist. If you see a stylists Instagram and they do all the things you love then there’s a high chance they can deliver what you want. I start by searching local city hashtags such as #napleshairstylist #napleshaircuttingspecialist etc. what type of cuts were you looking for? I know of amazing stylists in Florida. @martianfollicles is in St. Petersburg and specializes in razor cuts, pixies and shags.

I wish I could find a stylist where I live to take the time that you have shown on this video. Great Hair Cut....most stylist do not take the time either...clippers are not the only method to use on undercuts/pixie cuts especially for a female.
