"The eyes are the windows to the soul. This is especially true about ducks." 🤣Just added your skillshare class to my list can't wait to do it! Looks so fun and freeing.
Happy new year. All of us, as artists, as humankind, have our changing journey as we develop and meet life's joys and challenges. I will be here when you are. Stress is not worth it. Life is too short and we each are just allotted this one of today to ??? Who knows when- here on earth 🌍
So true! I wish days were twice as long so I could do all the things I’d like do do but oh well… at least I might get to do a little bit of all these things!
Yes, to talking about books. I liked the one you are listening to now, Wish You Were Here. I have been into WWII books for years and I was interested in how people survived those difficult times. I feel I need a change as well. I enjoy books on crimes but your ghost stories sounds good too especially learning about different cultures. I’m into, playing with colours in watercolour, like the Nouveau Art Kuritake set, a different palette and I do mainly abstracts. I am a senior and I agree to taking good care of yourself. Exercising, changing to daytime work hours and spreading out your You Tube videos. Time just passes so fast and spending time well while you are young is so important. Loved hearing about your grandmother. Be well, see you in two weeks. ❤🙋🏼♀️
The name of the folklore/ghost story I really liked was The Reformation. I feel like it would make such a good movie! I also liked Mexican Gothic. Another creepy/ folklore book. I’ve seen a lot of people using the Kuratake palettes and the colors look so pretty! Maybe this year will be the year I finally try them out… Anyway, thanks for the kind words, see you in two weeks! :)
I'd like to learn to paint gouache and decided to buy Sarah Burns and Craftamo monthly subscription. Hope .to build body of works for exhibition as well as you. I treat it as a direction where my energy should.go rather than a new years goal.
Yes same! It’s motivating without being stressful :) I’m sure the Sarah Burns subscription will be helpful, she is so good! I haven’t heard about craftamo before, I’ll look into it :) You’ll have so much fun learning gouache I’m sure!

@@LaurenceP-art thank you for those book titles , I will look into getting them. Bye bye, for now.
I would recommend Ronald Malfi - he wrights great horror-stories (Also with ghosts) and Darcy Coates. Tananarive Due is also a great horror writer.
I have read a few books from Tananarive Due and they’re so good! I’ll write those two other authors down, thank you! 😊

Tellement bonne idée les assiettes à fondue! Ça me donne envie d’aller au renaissance moi aussi 🤩
For sure if you are doing art and talk about book why not… you are making me want to paint funky duck lollll
Haha do it! It’s so silly 😅

What kind/brand of paper are u using with the Neocolors? I have this set, they are beautiful!
I’m using my Stillman & birn zeta series sketchbook. It works so well with the Neocolor II!
