With most fish nowadays you dont have to worry about ph so much because they are 100th generaton born in captivity in different ph's.
You might be surprised at the % of fish that are still wild caught today

How do you keep discus with rainbow fish ?
Great video and choices as alts to neons. I have some purple emperor tetras and these from my experiences they are fin biters especially to my Angels. Not sure if I have a grumpy batch or if this is normal for them. IDK. I paired them with the angels since they were bigger and wouldn't become lunch one day for the angels... well they liked to fin nip the angels so they had to be moved out.
Hmm how many did you have? Might be the case where you need a bunch for them to spar amongst themselves. I have 20 in a 3 ft and they havent been troublesome so far. Good to know
which shop/aquarium store did you find your emperor tetras?
Cardinals are happy at 78⁰f which is a bit too hot for white clouds who prefer 60⁰f to 70⁰f

I have glowlights, I chose them becasue I thought the orange stripe would make a good contrast with my powder blue dwarf gourami. I added 8 of them to the tank.
Sadly, my gourami died. The tetras are doing fine though.
