One of the best bands ever. I dislike concerts in daylight. You don't feel the power of the music as intense as in the dark. Nice show
It's so strange and surreal watching this during Covid-19....so many people together, just having fun, unconcerned about face masks and what not. Hopefully we can get back to that soon!

а я вот так взял братану билет.... и он услышал моих любимых депеш мод... и понял.... всё на этом свете... и больше лишних вопросов не задаёт....он их просто услышал в живом исполнении и всё.... а до этого орал что они не о чём....ну ну.... послушай живой звук а потом говори что угодно......яЛично там БУДУ!
Точно. В живую ещё и энергетика со сцены валит бешеная.
Через 10 дней после этого концерта они были а Москве
Слушаю Depeche Mode c 89-го года, но открылся он по новому после посещения концерта в 2007.
Теперь не пропускаю ни одного тура в России и ближайших странах, энергетика живого концерта заводит на пару-тройку лет лучше всяких фитнесов и витаминов!!!

Je suis fan de DM depuis 30 ans mais là je pense qu’il est nécessaire qu’ils raccrochent car on frôle le pathétique. Tout ce qui me faisaient vibrer c’est envolé. Le timbre de la voix, la gestuelle et l’orchestration commence à prendre l’eau. Mieux vaut s’arrêter là et en garder les meilleures souvenirs des années 80’ et 90’.

The live drummer just doesnt work !! Breaks the essential DP sound. Everything Counts sounds like 4 horses coming down a wooden passage way - Just use Roland, he keep to the true DP sound. Even Stripped didnt sound in form - Compared to the older Depeche it sounds a bit all over the show

i so agree with you.the drum sound is a complete crap and i wonder why they let him do all these fucking annoying fills all the time and completely destroy the songs.
Depeche mode is an electronic band,not a metal band...
i really think that the overall live sound is crap....

i dont know exactly - i have a live in paris dvd - but in general i find them quite boring now - - predictable - - after Exciter something happened dont know exactly what
I kind of know what you mean mate.
There is definitely something different to earlier live shows. Devotional was just excellent. Touring the angel was another very good tour. But now, though still a very good band (my absolute favourite since early 80's) something that was there isn't as it was before.
Dave, maybe, in earlier shows was less 'showy' and his performance led by more by the music and being with the crowd rather than overly performing?
Personally, the live version they now tend to do of, A pain that I'm used to, is terrible in comparison to touring the angel. The whole atmosphere of the song is changed by it.
And in live shows, when doing some old ones, Shout and Leave in Silence (akin to the original) would be nice rather than always, Just can't get enough.
They have so many good songs that hardly or never get a chance live.
Still love 'em though.
@@kirsty3655 maybe it happens with most bands - becoming less interesting - i saw DM in Florence Italy - in the times of people are people - and it was very exciting - martin gore with short back and sides hair - with leather - i mean it was great for the eyes too -
@@vadimislearningguitar4977 Yes, maybe when bands are out to impress and grow in stature and reputation, making statements of who they are with their music and live shows they're naturally better, more than when they've, been there and done it, kind of thing and the live shows are more, we are ......(enter band name).
For me the earlier albums were more consistently good throughout, much more than the last couple at least.
Black Celebration, Music for the masses, Violator, Songs of Faith and Devotion and even Playing the Angel for the most part are faultless.
The first time I saw them was at Hammersmith Odeon (now Apollo) touring with Construction Time Again and it was such a buzz for me. Loved it.
The last time I saw them was at the O2 (terrible venue with terrible sound) and that buzz just wasn't there for me.
Wembley Arena just a much better venue. The venue can make a difference too.
