The original RE1 perfectly sets up the grudge on Wesker's side. You see, Wesker got really mad and sad that Chris laughed at the tryant that he was hyping up. Keep in mind that this tyrant was a prototype but there were already tyrants being mass produced, yet for some reason he got so worked up about this one calling it the "ultimate lifeform", and all. Then it proceeded to kill him, which of course, was his plan all along. I love Resident Evil.

I've played all the Resident Evil games (1,2,3,CV,REmake,4, and 5), and I liked all of them. So they're different. Big deal. Resident Evil has always been campy, and each installment captures it to an extent, but in the best way possible.
RE0 expanded the storyline a bit more, showing what Bravo Team was doing before RE1. RE0 also revealed what Wesker and Birkin were up to before the series, such as the assassination of Marcus, and explained their involvement with Umbrella a little more.
And of course the direct link from the Dead Factory to the Lab in RE2 is there too, we just don't get to see that area, plus it might have been filled with security
@@django8451 it is the same underground cable car from RE2 only Leon came from the city where Rebecca comes from the Training Facility and the door that leads directly to the Lab is unusable because the outbreak didn't affect the Laboratory in RE2 because that was a different T-virus strain
yeah it was it was set before the events at the mansion (coming from Rebecca's point anyway as she arrived later I believe, didn't complete RE0 so that part is a little fizzy) but as far as i know it is part of the main storyline

Ha. 1 Had 2 scenarios with different gameplay mechanics, 2 touched up those mechanics while adding a four scenario game, 3 had nemesis and a few more improvements on the gameplay such as dodging. Code Veronica was completely in 3D without pre-rendered images at all for the backgrounds. But hey, zero out of four ain't bad kid.

I mean, the story itself has no real artfulness to it or is really anything beyond what you'd get at a crappy movie. But it's still fun, like a bad movie that the creators put a lot of love into
