nEw YEaR nEW mE~! In this video, I take on the glow up challenge and tackle all your New Years resolutions before 2019 is even in full swing. We’re talking working out at the gym, cooking and eating healthy meals, dying my hair, whitening my teeth, painting my nails (albeit badly), experimenting with glam makeup, and trying on a new outfit. I just want to appreciate thia video so much for the fact that she actually worked on herself too not just her appearance. Yes the health food and gyming and water helped it always does and will. But the fact that she tried hard and did something different is so inspiring. I get videos in the suggested that are glowup/transformation videos and its like 5 mins long and all they do is waste money on hair eyelashes nails clothes(even tho they have plenty) and fake tans etc. She worked on her physical emotional and spiritual health subconsciously by just working out and putting good stuff in. Sorry might sound silly but i rrally appreaciate the honesty and truth from this and needed some inspo.. Also firat time ive watched a vid of hers subscribed straight away!

Sandy 488 I think stylist meant ethnicity or what nationality her ancestors are. She said in the vid because she is Asian her hair turns orange. Then in the vid the other stylist said “it isn’t that orange”. I just think the girl didn’t know how to ask.
Holly M. That’s the thing, people don’t know how to ask lol. They should know the difference between ethnicity and nationality, if they don’t they honestly just aren’t willing to learn or care. They are the ones asking the question, they should know what they are asking. It’s just kind of annoying if you’ve experienced it literally anytime you meet someone new. I always get asked what nationality and when I say American they say I can’t be and repeat their question. I am American but my ethnicity is Thai. I know that they meant ethnicity it happens so often now I just give them a harder time :) then I educate them and they’ll know how to properly ask someone next time. But yeah
I understand. Everyone should educate themselves more. I just wanted to say that when things like this happen there is no ill intentions behind it. The people saying it are just truly uneducated. The best thing to do is to politely correct them and teach them the difference.

aa a Well considering ashley has a very clear american accent, asking her what nationality she is doesn’t make much sense in america.
aa a it’s considered rude because it can make people feel “othered” if that’s the right word. It’s just a strange way to get to know someone right off the bat when you’re putting a spotlight on the color of their skin (out of ignorance, people mix up nationality with ethnicity often, and this is commonly considered to be a bit cringe) instead of trying to chat with them over the regular schmegular small talk.

Currently binge watching your videos Ashley! Love your makeup routine, I apologise for the upcoming unsolicited advice, I'm an MUA and used to have cystic acne. A good way to lessen the spread of bacteria (apart from washing makeup brushes) is to put your makeup on your hand rather than directly on your face. I noticed that a lot of your products went directly on your skin and that can spread bacteria/cause breakouts, so I'd either spray the products with alcohol after every use or place it on your hand then apply with clean fingers/brushes/sponges. Again, not trying to come off as preachy/judgemental. Have a lot of love and respect for you!! Keep up the good work!

just curl your hair like normal starting at the roots (handle should be down, iron facing up, always curl away from your face) and then tilt the iron out of the top curl and keep going!! It sounds so confusing but you got it !!
