I have a 16 highlander and took a 13 hour trip with my 12 year old son in the 3rd row no problems. Everyone forgets you can slide the mid row forward so there's more room in the 3rd row. I had 4 adults and my son occupying all rows and everyone was comfortable . 1 very cool thing about the highlander is that it has an easy speak feature where it plays your voice through the speakers so the 3rd row can hear you, it makes it so much easier to talk to your passengers sitting behind you. He also didn't mention the annoying gear selector on the honda. Yes honda has more room but the Toyota never let me down when I needed cargo space. Buy what you feel fits you more and not what you might need it for. I installed a hitch and when I need a lot more space when I travel I install my cargo carrier and that's all the extra space I need. I also love the ground clearance on my highlander it's awesome when I need to climb over things. On my 13 hour road trip we were loaded packed 5 people, folded down one of my 3rd row seats for cargo. Installed the cargo carrier on my hitch and loaded that up till the truck was very low on the back. I drove normal and there wasn't any lack in power or brake fade and also my fuel was 24 mpg average every time I needed to refuel. That's my real world test.
That's a great, honest pitch Phuong! I hope a lot of you viewers consider his advice long and hard...here is an actual owner sharing his personal experience and discovering that the Highlander was the right choice for his family.
I checked both before I bought a Pilot. Both are great cars. But the Pilot is more roomier than the Highlander. Also in Pilot more space behind the 3rd row. Also the 3rd row of the Highlander is a 2 seater and much uncomfortable than the pilot. I wish they make the Highlander little wider and longer to match Pilot's dimensions.
You have nailed this review. You have covered every important aspect of what any family should look have in their checklist (EVEN IF THEY DON"T HAVE KIDS BUT WILL). I have Pilot 2011 and 2016 is a no-brainer. The biggest step up for me is the interior 'bells and whistles' which were definitely lagging in all previous models.
great presentation I like the fact that you detailed a little bit about the third row seat that's really good most people just talk about it and do not go there great job
Thank you so much for the nice words Ricardo! Now that we are in Hawaii, we are re-launching the channel in just a few weeks...so hopefully we'll have some great new stuff for you.
I LOVE my '16 Pilot! Awesome space, drives like a charm, and can haul some ass! Leased the EX-L trim AWD. Also has an eco drive option to save a little more MPG. Standard on all pilot trims is the remote start. You can't get that in the Highlander. Even replaced regular bulbs with some led bulbs in the cabin. There's been a lot of folks complaining about the 9 speed in the Touring and Elite...DON'T DO IT! Go with the EX-L.
Hi, I enjoy watching these videos regardless however if i may suggest just a slightly better camera or settings so that we can get some better views of the vehicles? The presentation in the videos is great i just feel like there is some slightly missed opportunity for more views if the videos didn't look quite so grainy. Whether it's worth the effort for you to look into correcting that, I don't know, but figured I would give it a mention. Cheers!
Finally a review with relevant information for a family with children. Thank you for having substance in your review and containing material people actually need.
Well done on your comparison video of the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. At 5'7" with only two grandchildren, the Toyota is right for me. Thank you.
Most Toyota engines are under rated. I bet the highlander V6 has over 300 horses easy. Toyotas are also design for ease of maintenance. Anybody who has worked on a Toyota and a Honda will tell you the Toyota is far easier to work on. Between these two I would absolutely pick the Toyota.
Clearly the best comparison review I've seen. Honda Pilot is the one! But like other's have mentioned, I'm getting the highest trim level I can that still comes with the 6-speed transmission and not the new 9 speed. I've heard too many bad things about it.
Thank you so much for the nice words! Now that we are in Hawaii, we are re-launching the channel in just a few weeks...so hopefully we'll have some great new stuff for you.
Filmed with the Potato 2000. Also, show a better view of the dash/console. Sit in back for example and point the potato at the front so we get a decent overall view of the dash/front. Also ride/handling quality needs to be tested. Especially the 9-speed ZF is not a dead giveaway. Its suitability might be less than expected. Also pricing is important and that was missing too. Nor did we have a decent sideways view of the cars. Anything decent is not possible with a potato, but you get the drift.
Thank you for this unbiased video and review. My family and friends love the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander both. We completely agree with your opinion and choice, the value of a spacious of Third Row is important 👍
My last 3 cars were 97 Camry, 05 Accord Coupe, and 14 CRV. To me the main advantage of Honda were handling, brakes, and maintenance. I could corner the Accord much better than the Camry. I just didn't like the suspension and the cushy ride of he Camry. Also, my Accord and CRV never needed alignment even when replacing tires. My Camry needed alignment every 20,000 miles. I never replaced shocks.struts on my 180,000 miles Accord, but I replaced struts on my Camry at 100,000 miles. I will upgrade to a RDX or a Pilot, mainly because the CRV is under power and too small for me, I'm 5'11, 210. However, the Pilot interior looked too cheap and the arm rest are too small and uncomfortable..
Thanks for the response. We just purchased a 2015 CR-V for my wife and I had a chance to check the Pilot out....very impressive. I'll be looking to replace my 2012 Toyota Venza with either the Highlander or the Pilot so your review was very timely. Thanks again.
Overall we looked at Highlander & Pilot, we decided to go with Highlander & was end of year clearance. I have owned 3 highlanders since '02, not one has let me down. It is fun to drive, our has all the bells whistles & including JBL/ Blu-ray entertainment center w/ captains chairs, not bench seats.
I love when people come to the conclusion that what they bought in the past was fantastic so why not go get some more of that? You have great taste, Highlanders have been at the very top since day 1 and the new Highlander is never going to let you down.
Thank you for such a great video! I absolutely love the looks of the Highlander but, when it comes right down to it, it's a lot smaller in the third row and in the cargo area in the rear. I think the styling of the Toyota definitely has more attitude but my kiddos have to be comfortable and I need all the cargo area I can get. This will be our first Honda and I'm truly looking forward to it! Thanks again!
Really nice video with great content and information on both..Presented well and the Pilot and Highlander look great. Have to ask about the video quality..Completely ruins the video. .It is really bad and seems to be shot with avery low quality camera..Need to re-shoot this video with much better camera and not a cell phone...
The Honda is the better buy. It may not be as good looking as the Toyota, but it has tons of room and drives like a dream. I wish my dealer had the same extra warranty as you do. But I live in California so buying my Honda in Seattle could not happen. I hope you are having fun with your new Honda Pilot.
They really are great Amtrak. The 2 biggest differences are overall feeling of spaciousness and that 3rd row seat. 2 big plusses for the Pilot. I love Toyota's and they really are great, so either choice really boils down to personal preference. Thank you so much for taking a look!
The Honda Pilot has never been a body-on-frame vehicle, it has ALWAYS been based on the Accord/Odyssey platform, shared with the Ridgeline. It may have looked more like a "truck" before, but it was never one.
Thanks for popping the hoods and not showing us the engines. This is something important to me since I do my own general maintenance from belt changes , spark plugs to oil changes. SO NEXT TIME SHOW US THE ENGINES AS WELL!!!
+Andreas Modl Yeah, he should have shown us the engines. It's like he's hiding something. One time I opened my hood and found a cat up in it. I think it was trying to stay warm. It was a pain getting him out because he kept hissing at me. Finally, I had to spray cold water on him to get him to get out. I bet there was a cat up inside that Highlander or Pilot in the video.
I actually enjoyed the camera work. Makes me feel like I’m watching a true self made video. Kinda get board with all these junior pro videos seeking promo rewards... this video is what u tube is all about.... nice work
Hello I love your video comparison but I was just wondering why would you let go of your 2007 GL450? I would think that getting a mid sized economy SUV could over a full sized luxo boat would be a significant downgrade.
i agree with you. i need a third row with 2 kids and several of their friends. thanks for the evaluation and also telling us how tall you are so it gives us an idea of the space in rows two and three. that was helpful.
Thanks for the nice comparison. As a 2013 Accord V6 owner, we waited until the new Pilot came out to make our decision earlier this year, and in our case chose the Highlander for the better drive and smaller size. The Honda dimensions are somewhat larger than the Toyota which is evident in your comparison of the roominess of the 3d row seat. We wanted a 3d row seat to have room for additional passengers on short trips, but it is normally not used. I also like not having the variable cylinder management feature on the Toyota, which at least on my Accord creates a noticeable vibration on the gas pedal.
Great video and good info. We just bought the Toyota and love it. Amazing in the snow and off road but drives as smooth as our Mercedes. Only 2 kids at home so the small 3rd row is not a problem for us. Consumer report says the Toyota is more dependable so that was the decision maker for me.
I'll go with the Highlander but that's because it's only my boyfriend and I.... my nephew and little seldomly ride with us. But if I had a bigger family I would definitely go with the Pilot.
I am going with the PILOT, going to lease.. I really did like the Highlander a lot but when it came down to it I need CARGO and room in the back.. I am leasing so I will be checking out your reviews in the future.. :) ty again!!!
The ZF may be the worst transmission company in the word Honda I've been experiencing so much trouble and problems since they've changed to this 9speed transmission in all hondas products like Acura. Clearly if you want to stay trouble-free go with Toyota you're not gonna noticed this 10 horsepower.
+Itay Rozenstein The one he was reviewing was the 6 speed automatic not the 9 speed ZF. The way you can tell is the traditional shifter is 6 speed and the push button one is the 9 speed!
GBraidi78 I know, I just mentioned that the ZF is not a good transmission because he said it's an option with the new Pilot , they should stick with the regular 6 speed automatic.
It is obvious who is giving you the bigger commission but I don't agree. We test rode the Honda Pilot Touring and the Toyota Highlander XLE and there is no comparison on the ride, The Pilot interior is more hard plastic (here is where they saved the $1K) and also rides with more road noise inside the cabin, the finish on the Toyota has a different feel of class, better handling, very responsive (better than the German 9 speed), less inside cabin noise and the audio and NAV unit also on the Toyota are very easy to work, lets not forget Highlander reputation of low maintenance among the crossover SUVs. On the third row seating I agree but there is where you seat the small people or the mother in-law I bought from a dealer that allowed me to negotiate and came home with a good deal on our 2006 Highlander XLE
+flacousa62 ; You must have test rode the Highlander in straight line. It is like a hot air balloon around corners. Horrible suspension and not so good brakes.
+Regent Lauzon then you never drove the new Pilot, drives like a jello, meanwhile the new highlander is far more poised relative to this class SUVs, except the Durango which is better
Nice job Joe... Some don't need the 3rd seat and would do just fine with the Toyota... did you mention the reliability of each car and resale value at the end of 5 years or so? How does the road noise inside compare on asphalt and cement roads? I have the Honda Odyssey and it has too much road noise for me... I have even used ear plugs to quiet it down... the motor is quiet but the tires are noisy at 70 mph.
+Bob McClard The Pilot Touring and Elite have added insulation to make them much quieter than say, an Odyssey. That being said, the Highlander is still quieter, especially on less-tan-smooth roads. As far as reliability and resale value, they are #1 and #1A, you can't go wrong either way.
First I would like to Thank this man for creating this video it really helps to choose i drove both cars and i will say that its like Lexus vs Acura Toyota vs Honda hope that will make some sense other thang i did release Pilot is more like a cheaper material made vs Highlinder more off a Mainly lexury car but keep in mind this Highlinder is coming out with new design in 2017 its really not fair to compare them 100% i have two kids maybe will have third and I'm planning to drive it until it can But my wife have another opinion she likes Pilot more and I completely understand it's more off a Woman SUV and that's what i got even do they are both great cars I just found out that Toyota have lifetime warranty on Engine and Transmission as long as u are the 1st owner all i can say they are equally nice cars both have little ups downs but if u have 3 kids go with Pilot 1 or 2 Toyota Also honda have more off a modern technology vs Highlinder such as Usb Hard Drive ipad connect tuch screen cameras on side etc but also more headache later which for us young families 25-35 age is very interesting since we all love technology I don't think u can go wrong on eather car if u need more room go with pilot otherwise Toyota ride quality looks and woranty makes up for those extra elections that it doesn't have .
thanks for the video it gave me some good info for making my decision easier. I don't need or want a 3rd row so the Highlander is looking like a better choice for me. I currently own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 3.6R that I like but I can fill up the cargo space and back seat pretty well with just my own gear. Even though Pilot has the most cargo space I think the Highlander would be fine, at least better than what I have now. The other thing Subaru did was create that goofy roof rack that doesn't fit my 17' kayak, very disappointed on that. There would be no problem with the Highlander putting a couple kayas and bikes on that spacious roof.
In many ways I like the Highlander more than the Pilot, but I need the 3rd row seat and that's what makes/breaks the deal for me. If you don't care about the 3rd row, the Highlander is an easy choice.
Great comparison video and very informative. The Highlander, Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Explorer and Mazda CX9 are all like this. I love my current GMC Acadia, which is absolutely massive inside and can seat up to 8 but I'm disappointed that the 2017 redesigned Acadia is being downsized to about the same dimensions as the pilot but does not look as roomy. Guess I'll be waiting for the redisgned 2018 Chevy Traverse, unless Honda starts running some killer deals on the Pilots in the coming months...
+STAR AXE i've had the most awful experience with my Traverse . I'd drive its into a lake if I could. AC broken, check engine, and that evap canister that causes your car to flood out and not crank after fueling . My Friend has and Acadia and we have the same problems. Chevy can't sell me a keychain at this point
What year is your Traverse. I've had my Acadia for three years and the only major mechanical issue was the A/C compressor that failed just after the warranty expired. GM reimbursed me the cost of the repairs after a bit of prodding.
I have a 2010 Acadia and after year 5 it started to fall apart which is why I won't buy a GMC again. Literally a laundry list of problems and I always do the needful servicing at the dealer. At one point I had to replace the front struts which weren't cheap and after a year and a half, guess what, they were leaking. After they did some research they found that the ones i purchased had a lifetime guarantee.. Great right? But they still charged me for the labor.. Isn't that why I got the ones with the lifetime guarantee? Never again. Also, my wife bought a 2010 Traverse. It was even worse so after year 5 it was also gone.
That killer deal part has always been hard to come by with Honda. but they like any dealers tend to lose their minds on the last week of the year...especially the last day of the year when bonus checks are on the line.
I just test drove both on the same day (Highlander and Pilot) - The interior of the highlander seems to have be of higher quality but it feels small and tight. Pilot has been impoved 10 fold from the previous Pilots and it just has so much room. Driving both the Highlander's transmission seemed to skip a little. The Pilot was quietter and had good acceleration, also the Pilot Touring has pedal shifters and a Sport mode. Highlander for the same car as a Pilot is more expensive. but I think that If Toyota made the Highlander the size of the 4 Runner they would have the best SUV out there.....we are buying a Pilot
+everycarSeattle *****Plans changed today - we ended up buying the Highlander and we love it, amazing car, it feels like a big car, smooth, nice power, very comfortable, NO regrets, we got a killer deal****
Thanks for this -- super helpful!!!! We have two kids and this video confirmed a lot of things for us.. I really do love the Toyota but I see what you are saying about the Pilot .. decisions!!!!
+Laura Moakley With 2 kids you could do a coin flip and be super happy with either choice. It's only when you need the 3rd seat that the Honda gets an advantage.
+Laura Ryan -- I really really need the room.. so it maybe the Honda also. To bad Toyota just didn't get the hint with creating more head and cargo room!
@@willsr.9154 hahaha I acutally got the Honda pilot for 3 years it was ok nothing amazing for me - then just traded it iin for toyotota highlander last month - - LOVE The highlander so much more - the way it looks - the way it feels, the safety features are great, Bluetooth and the program works flawlessly. I saw the honda pilot 2019 version got rid of the side view camera -- -I didn't see much upgrades - I really wasn't impressed anymore. I feel like Toyota hit the ball out of the park.
Now that I'm in Hawaii, we are re-launching the channel in a few weeks. I'll make sure to review the Elite against the competition. Here's a video of the Elite by itself ruclips.net/video/vKsy_3nSkG8/видео.html
+everycarSeattle ok so i got my honda pilot EX and I've had it for like 3 weeks now and i'm getting like 11 mpg... any suggestions on how to economize more fuel?
If you have three kids , the Toyota with the bench seat on second row will be perfect. Then the third row seat will be there for emergency need. I think you should have pointed it out. Anyway nice review.
Thanks for the review. If we were anywhere near the Pacific Northwest we'd come buy our car from you. I laughed out loud at the "real-world Costco space"' comment. Funny because it's true...
I'm interested in overall cargo space. With the 2nd & 3rd row seats folded down which vehicle has more space? Also is the floor flat in both vehicles with these seats in the down position. Thanks for a very informative video.
+7T1Vette The Pilot is roomier in every possible configuration. It's no Suburban, but in the crossover segment it's the biggest on the block and significantly so.
I appreciate the look AMV7 ...I finally cracked and got a new camera a few weeks ago...and the moment I got it an even nicer one just came out...technology, sigh.
The Highlander 3rd row seats recline and one can get comfortable in there if 2nd row moves a bit forward, that said probably folks under 5'10" as the head room is limited.
If a 3rd row seat isn't a big deal or if your kids are young it's no big deal either way. However, if the 3rd row is a big deal (as it is in my family) don't give it a second thought and go for the Pilot.
Hi Joe, Kudos on your great videos!! I love your one price policy that I might even fly from Bay-area to purchase the vehicle. Few quick questions : a.) Does the price you have quoted in your video for the 2016 Pilot EXL include the 7 year warranty? b.) is it 7 year bumper to bumper warranty or drivetrain only ? c.) will that 7 year warranty only be honored at your dealership or any Honda dealership will honor it anywhere in the US. Regards, Atul
+Atul Mohan The 7/100 warranty is powertrain only. It is good not only at any Honda dealer but any certified shop in America. It also comes with nationwide 24/7 roadside assistance.
+Reaphe Richards Our GL is a 2007 and my wife is more than ready for something new. I love that GL but I have to admit that the new Pilot is nicer in every possible way and will probably cost nothing in upkeep for the next 10 years...something that can't be said about the Mercedes.
Stuck between the Honda Pilot EX-L , Toyota Highlander LE Plus and the Mazda CX-9 Touring. With four kids (one who sits in the front, and one newborn) one of these are needed to fulfill the family duty. Any advice ? Driving, Reliability, Safety & Comfort are the main factors.
josiah aquino sit in the 3rd row seat. If you plan to seat teenagers or adults in the 3rd row the Highlander is a no go. I am 6'2" and the Pilot 3rd row provided me plenty of leg room and head clearance.
So as an owner of both dealerships, do you find the reliability of the pilot, especially the 6 speed transmission, to be significantly less reliable than the highlander and it's transmission?
I own an 06 pilot and its so reliable that I refuse to get rid of it. BUT in the case that it does happen I would a new pilot without thinking twice. I've used my pilot to move to my new apt., lug around 7 people and move a full size refridgerator. Best car ever
I was just following a Pilot like yours last night and thought it was just about the best thing Honda has ever made...that being said, if you like your '06 Young, you are going to LOVE the new Pilot!
we increase the Pilot price a little bit more and people still pick Honda after driving both vehicles. Tell me the reason that you pick the pilot. I could use it on the undecided buyers. I have people that stop twice weekly to look the Pilot ,i know that they want to buy but they are thinking too much
what's the price you guys have on the more base model? in looking at the honda pilot ex I live in the rouge valley oregon just need to get my stupid ford out but I would be behind so I'm looking at buying in about a year
Had to have the 2nd row captains chairs and was sad to find although found easily on the highlander you can only get it on the 9 speed pilot. That was a deal breaker for me. I love my highlander.
I am trying to decide between these two, an xc70, xc60, or an outback..all used. Xc70, pilot, and outback are super comfortable. I am 6'2" 215lbs and the driving position in the highlander isnt so great for me. My knee bumps the center console and i feel like my thighs arent supported enough. The pilot drivers seat felt like a sofa. Super roomy. The xc70 felt like i was getting hugged...also comfy. Xc60 was too small. I'm rambling.
Let me get this right...first dude didnt realize the hood Toyota already open, second Honda has hood brace instead of hydraulics...shit poor @ this price..Pilots havent ever been body on frame lol
I have a 16 highlander and took a 13 hour trip with my 12 year old son in the 3rd row no problems. Everyone forgets you can slide the mid row forward so there's more room in the 3rd row. Thank you for taking the time to go over all the details. We were split between the two and you nailed exactly why we want the Pilot...3rd row room!
+jennifer nagel It's so much bigger in the 3rd row that I'd be surprised in Toyota didn't quickly come out with a longer wheelbase model.

Clearly the best comparison review I've seen. Honda Pilot is the one! But like other's have mentioned, I'm getting the highest trim level I can that still comes with the 6-speed transmission and not the new 9 speed. I've heard too many bad things about it.

You have great taste, Highlanders have been at the very top since day 1 and the new Highlander is never going to let you down.
i like the Honda pilot more because of the amount of seats it has and the look

Thank you for such a great video! I absolutely love the looks of the Highlander but, when it comes right down to it, it's a lot smaller in the third row and in the cargo area in the rear. I think the styling of the Toyota definitely has more attitude but my kiddos have to be comfortable and I need all the cargo area I can get. This will be our first Honda and I'm truly looking forward to it! Thanks again!

I just posted a new 2019 Pilot video Paul, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/vqNol0Pdt3A/видео.html
Great video and good info. We just bought the Toyota and love it. Amazing in the snow and off road but drives as smooth as our Mercedes. Only 2 kids at home so the small 3rd row is not a problem for us. Consumer report says the Toyota is more dependable so that was the decision maker for me.

Itay Rozenstein oh gotcha bro
2 transmission choices, a six speeds which is great ,and a 9 spds.
is the new honda crv a good choice?
On the third row seating I agree but there is where you seat the small people or the mother in-law
I bought from a dealer that allowed me to negotiate and came home with a good deal on our 2006 Highlander XLE

Me too was going to buy the Gmc Acadia but it got smaller this year so high hopes For the Chevy Traverse 2018.
The rear window not flipping up on the Honda (my 2011 does) is a major disappointment.
I just posted a new 2019 Pilot Elite video David, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/vqNol0Pdt3A/видео.html
+Raul Torres Great analysis Raul...I'm having you do the review next time, you know your stuff!

+Laura Moakley With 2 kids you could do a coin flip and be super happy with either choice. It's only when you need the 3rd seat that the Honda gets an advantage.
+everycarSeattle Thanks.. seriously I am still trying to decide ! This is so hard!
+Laura Ryan -- I really really need the room.. so it maybe the Honda also. To bad Toyota just didn't get the hint with creating more head and cargo room!
@@autumrhythm we are there now! 2 year's later what did you decide on??
@@willsr.9154 hahaha I acutally got the Honda pilot for 3 years it was ok nothing amazing for me - then just traded it iin for toyotota highlander last month - - LOVE The highlander so much more - the way it looks - the way it feels, the safety features are great, Bluetooth and the program works flawlessly. I saw the honda pilot 2019 version got rid of the side view camera -- -I didn't see much upgrades - I really wasn't impressed anymore. I feel like Toyota hit the ball out of the park.

Hi Joe,
Kudos on your great videos!! I love your one price policy that I might even fly from Bay-area to purchase the vehicle.
Few quick questions :
a.) Does the price you have quoted in your video for the 2016 Pilot EXL include the 7 year warranty?
b.) is it 7 year bumper to bumper warranty or drivetrain only ?
c.) will that 7 year warranty only be honored at your dealership or any Honda dealership will honor it anywhere in the US.
Regards,
Atul
+Atul Mohan The 7/100 warranty is powertrain only. It is good not only at any Honda dealer but any certified shop in America. It also comes with nationwide 24/7 roadside assistance.

+Reaphe Richards Our GL is a 2007 and my wife is more than ready for something new. I love that GL but I have to admit that the new Pilot is nicer in every possible way and will probably cost nothing in upkeep for the next 10 years...something that can't be said about the Mercedes.
+everycarSeattle you're absolutely right thanks so much for the insight. I care more about practicality than luxury

Comparing 2016 vehicles using 20 year old camera does not do much.
+Brian Yun ...we'll be making some big changes in the next week, so I think a new camera might be among those changes.

The 3rd row seat sells the Pilot Josiah. Go Honda or Toyota for resale value than between those two, go with the Honda.

I was just following a Pilot like yours last night and thought it was just about the best thing Honda has ever made...that being said, if you like your '06 Young, you are going to LOVE the new Pilot!

plus the higher trim pilots have remote start whereas that's an additional option in the highlander correct?
+Christopher .WalkenPNW Good observation...I thought you were awesome in Biloxi Blues, by the way.

The wheelbase on the Highlander is shorter and a few inches makes a big difference..
+joseph Murillo It's surprising to me that the Highlander isn't roomier...but of course Toyota does have the Sequoia which is my favorite SUV ever.

How about vibrations in Honda cars compared to Toyota cars being so smooth?
Umaa R--How about it?
It's true. It's small but it's true. Hondas offer more and Toyotas are literally rock solid. It's ultimately a personal choice of value.
We just test drove both and his comments are almost verbatim of what we said about the two. We bought the Honda (3 kids and a dog).
we increase the Pilot price a little bit more and people still pick Honda after driving both vehicles. Tell me the reason that you pick the pilot. I could use it on the undecided buyers. I have people that stop twice weekly to look the Pilot ,i know that they want to buy but they are thinking too much
it is bigger and people think they are getting more for their money, which they are

Had to have the 2nd row captains chairs and was sad to find although found easily on the highlander you can only get it on the 9 speed pilot. That was a deal breaker for me. I love my highlander.

question which car is better n long lasting for a single person
As much as I love Honda I have to admit for a single person focused on long term reliability it's the Toyota for sure.

2016 Honda Pilot vs 2016 Toyota Highlander
