Born and grew up in the country, ended up in the city after 3 years in the army, retired back to the country.....country folks are like the people who built this country. Independent, conservative, honest and religious. City folks...well, had problems with break-ins and theft. I don't think we were 'designed' to live all jammed together away from nature. Just my opinion.

I was in Walmart in mid 2020, the dust was flying as they restocked the shelves. The dust got in my throat and guess what? I started coughing. Never did get Covid and I hope to keep it that way.
I dunno... I mean, for the junior high school writing project that this script obviously was, I think it's actually pretty good. The writers must have been no older than 14 or 15 years old. Why someone actually made a movie out of it is pretty much beyond me, but, hey! What the hell! Everybody's got to start somewhere.

Nope, I'm here in the states.... in a big city where the majority of the idiots have me surrounded and out numbered.
I assure you, each city and each state had a different reaction to covid, around here most of the business locked their doors and some employers had to actually give their employees a written note stating that they were essential employees and hat to report to work. We pretty much had the ghestoppo thing going on here where I live, and if you got caught outside of your home without that note from your employer the police wrote you a ticket.
So, depending on where you live, the overall situation was handled differently.
Same way here in Canada. The media would have you think that it was the same Gestapo crap in every town, city, Province, it wasn't but sadly I was in a city where they reacted the same way right down to needing your "papers" to go anywhere deemed 'non-essential'!

I think it's weird that people don't realize that certain Asian countries have been wearing masks and gloves for decades.
These are countries where people live well into their 90's. Some even make it past 100.
The same cannot be said for America.
Oh yeah and I forgot to include all the doctors over years and years who have seen patients with a mask and a glove and a cap they keep themselves safe they keep patients safe from spreading things.
Masks are not a complete solution but they do work to keep some illnesses at bay.
I was in an unfortunate living situation when covid started. In order for me to safely travel on the bus I had to have my employer give me a letter showing that I was taking public transportation to and from work.

I'm not necessarily a "prepper" but most rural folks are way ahead of the city slickers when it comes to living off grid, just by the circumstances most of us grew up in and still know how to negotiate.
We know where our next available ground water supply is and most still know the best places and habits of the local wildlife to eat for a while and we have the know how and skill to hunt it, or hunt anything that threatens us.
We know the backtrails and the bottlenecks.
Many of us have enough home canned goods to last a year or more with enough ammo and guns to be able to fight off multiple small bands of scavengers and other threats, and we know the plant remedies available in and around our homes to help us or hurt outsiders.
But go ahead with your little "pirate fantasy", you might even get lucky with some of the city bound "preppers", but my guess is that they have put a lot more thought and practice in to protecting their stashes than you have in planning to steal them.
And you won't make it very far in the boondocks at all, so it's best you don't get outside your city limit signs.

In 2020 I contracted Covid 19. I lost the ability to walk without a cane or Walker. Covid struck again in 2021. I almost died. Now I am dying. Down to weeks or maybe even days.

Sure hope you're still with us. The same thing happened to me in Oct 21. I was partially paralyzed in my left leg but just during the time I was symptomatic. It took about 6 months to get full mobility back but I'm "normal " now. Body is not the same but I'll take it. Praise God.

I loved this movie, it was raw, believable and had energy. I loved the Actors as they played their heart and soul out putting this together. If you are looking for amazing special effects, then this movie isn't for you. But as I stated above watch and enjoy it grit, it's honesty and raw courage to bring this movie to the screen. Kudos to all involved. ❤😊
If they had of mentioned hospitals blowing people's lungs out with ventilators , falsified death certificates and murder by Remdesivir, it would have made it a tad more realistic, Didn't get to the part where the " cure" was more deadly thab any alleged "virus" but perhaps rhat will be in the "sequel" and they call it "Long Covid".
