Ahhhhh the good days when Ms Helen was relaxed and calm. Thank goodness these old videos still exist. There was no live chat whereas now it’s “Enter chat at your own risk” and poor Ms Helen constantly putting herself down nowadays and she gets sooo flustered with the high tech gadgets. I love these craft videos so much. ❤❤❤

Back when it was a solo craft channel..there was no pressure or expectations. I just come back to these good old videos,and enjoy the calm,quiet Granny's backyard feeling I originally subbed for.

So sorry Amy, yes I think crafting is a way of healing. If Mrs Helen can create all that she does at her age most of should at least try. Find your nitch, tons of crafts to choose from. Just let your creative juices flow and have fun. You have no idea what talents you may posess. I surprise myself at times. We may be watching you one day. Move over Mrs. Helen lol Enjoy!!!!!

I adore watching before-after interior remodels. I see the before and wonder what on earth is wrong with it--it looks very lovely. Then, I see the after, and, yes...it's lovely, too. So, I think folks are simply wanting a "fresher", different look, not something that's necessarily better.
I was watching your wonderful project, happened to look down. When I looked up you had placed the smaller hanging basket inside the larger, and thought the difference in shades of "red" was glorious, just glorious. Then, you added more cement making them both the same shade and they looked equally glorious.
Addionally, how blessed you are to have your grandson assisting.

At the moment you made this video it was -21°/-31° C, and -31°C was the temperature felt with the winds and all here in Saguenay Quebec Canada. You were in your garden crafting in a sweat shirt! I was in my living room crocheting with the wood furnace blasting with fire. We had 6 feet of snow everywhere on the ground at that moment! I suppose in Russia it was -60°C or less somewhere! Now today, July 5th 2018, we have +36°C in the shade, felt like +40°C with the humidity. We are waiting for a rainstorm at any moment the sky is covered with gray clouds. Thunder's a comin'! Wooohoooo! Have a blessed and bountiful day dear Helen that we all Love!

Just found your channel. This is beautiful, looks just like a flower🌹!! It looked like fun making this and folding the blanket under the mold reminded me of shaping pie crust in a pan. I hope to try this project sometime! I used to live in Hinesville and I visit Savannah every now and again. I can't say I love the weather in GA but the people are usually sweet and I love the mossy oak trees❤ I send a big shout out to your grandson for being so caring and helpful! Also, sorry to hear about your husband... I can't imagine how that feels, such a big change but like you said you need to find a way to make the best of each day. I LOVE your hanging basket and will try to make something like this myself. Here in the UK it is a little too wet and windy at present to work outside on something like this, maybe in a month or so! I do not have a blanket like yours, will have to try with sackcloth. Really like your wind chimes too! Am about to explore your other videos, full of admiration, I think we are of a similar age!
