@@ToyotaCorolla-en2mv it kinda is tho. Knockout used to be resilience gated, you could prevent their health regen or making a diamond lance on cleanup if you were 6 resil and above. Now you can’t. More melee damage also just means an easier cleanup with certain weapons and body shots and whatnot. Dumb change that didn’t need to happen

@@Pandemoniyum I a lot of things will happen to you more often the more often you play PvP. You will just notice what's more popular. But keep in mind, just cause it's popular that doesn't mean it's OP or an issue. We have enough of Bungie nerfing stuff based on usage rates because the community has show them that's what we want, let's not further encourage that when they're finally giving Titans some much needed buffs.

Warlocks getting nerfed into oblivion in PVP simply by the other two classes being buffed so much. We've got shooting from air. Wow. That's really going to get me flawless until everyone realizes it in round 1.
Dawn lock has been the best class in the game since solar 3.0 it is still the best class in the game today prismatic hunter would still lose to dawnlock at the beginning of final shape stop coping and get better
Locks also have devour electro slide broodweaver blink healing and empowering rifts some of the best neutral game in pvp on voidwalker and some of the best shutdown play in the game with shadebinder
If you can’t win on a warlock you aren’t very good at PvP end of story

Hey guardians, as you can tell from the very meaningful changes we made to prismatic hunter that totally didn't just screw over the other subclasses; at some point it seems we actually fired the balancing team and forgot we did it. Anyways, if you take a look at the recent patch notes titled "fuck it we ball" the unpaid intern has decided give titans more movement they shouldn't have and more one shot melees they didn't need. Have fun in the crucible guardians :)

One melee got a tweak (the worst melee in the game btw), and knockout now gives back its original health (was nerfed btw)…and now they’re broken?
Hey Wallah, there is one thing that I think people... forgot about with prismatic titan.
An Insermountable Skullfort is the best armor piece. Pairing it with thunderclap and diamond lance allows for some absolutely absurd chains where you just freeze and tclap enemies without a chance for them to shoot you a single time. Pair it with unbreakable for some hard pushing at the start or cryostesia to help with the chain freezing.
It's just freeze, charge a tcap, repeat.
When Titans get more unpowered melee damage , make hunters have a faster melee, and warlocks have a longer range, so at least they're all different in a unique way.

@@PrettyPancake-xm5githe whole point of the change is to make titans different and lean into the punching identity. It does sound like a cool idea and I could see it working but titans would probably need more than just 5% damage buff
They either need to do this or not touch unpowered melee at all. I would rather 3 melee hits to kill across the board anyway, then people can't just rush you down. In fact, if melee was still 3 hits to kill, all the people that complain about shotguns being overused would have some relief, because it'd be less consistent to go for shotgun melee cleanup unless you actually hit enough pellets.

Funfact, warlocks originally already had that. It was removed in witch queen's year. It had a longer range but lower recovery time.

Bungie is literally just trying to appease titan mains with these buffs. It's easier to buff/nerf something and make a small population of players happy than to actually do something that will benefit all the players.

Titans have been terrible this season besides consercration. Shiver Strike while good without the combo isn’t the greatest melee. People need to understand these buffs aren’t because of PvP. It’s because Titans are lacking compared to the other classes for PvE. I for one am happy Void Titan is finally get a buff it deserves.

@sol923 oh yeah pris titan is broken right now. It is definitely not hard though. If you can't get a shiver strike combo the subclass does absolutely nothing special. It's one dimensional and frustrating. The shiver strike changes are gonna add complexity and disincentcivise you from using your shiver strike for aggression. People are freaking out about a few nothing burger changes and a healthy change to shiver strike

Wallah, my love, I would be awesome to know what you would with the general sandbox for PvP, the best opinions for this is from someone who actually main PvP
Its funny titans have always been strong in PvP but in PvE its meh outside of the strong melee build that works on some bosses. None of the buffs fix PvE titan. Still the class with no identity. Maybe they should lean into the machine gunner aspect. Make actium an S tier exotic and give titans an interaction with all machine guns just by default. Like faster reload or even more damage they should probably add more stability as well since titans physically should be the strongest class and should have more stability with an lmg but idk.
People who think this is going to be free like prismatic hunter are in for a surprise. The melee cooldown is long. To find success with the class, you have to ape.

Tarrabah is elite in rumble and 3v3. It will always be phenomenal if they don't change how it works. 2 gunfight basically gives you heavy for 7 seconds

Hunter needed the nerfs and titan should have been buffed more. 1% use in a day 1 raid says all that needed to be heard. If you are a pvp enjoyer then you should be even more happy. No more absurd shiver strike oneshots is definitely a healthy change.

The melee changes are even more ridiculous than you're expecting. Behemoth Titan will only need to move normally for maybe 6 seconds at a time now because with 100 Strength the cooldown on a wiffed Shiver Strike is going to be roughly 10.1 seconds long. So with Cryoskating and Shiver Strikes mixed together a Titan can rocket themselves throughout the map at mach 12 with full directional control. What's more is because a Cryoskate + Shiver Strike movement combo lasts for about 4-5 seconds the user can go into another Cryoskate immediately upon landing back on the ground with only the Shiver Strike cooldown stopping them from keeping the chain going.
Bungie said they didn't want to fully revert Cryoclasm's original nerfs for fear of powercreeping movement, but then they turned around and gave Titans an even faster way to move around the map.

Titan is gonna be about the same as now. Just less one dimensional. The knockout buff just frees up a fragment slot, and the shiver strike changes remove the cheese. Diamond lance uptime will be about the same due to always getting knockout of a double melee.
