I agree respect should be given to elders but it's the parents decision what their child should be named. Dharini and Suresh considered Saroja's suggestion and decided not to go with it. Saroja not only crossed boundaries by trying to force the name on them but also had too high expectations if she thought they would listen. She after all hid what the josiyar said so that the child would be named after her father. On top of that she insulted Sathya's father so Sathya talked back. Finally Saroja's father wasn't even a good person so I am not entirely sure why Saroja thought she could get away with insulting Sathya's father. Sathya tried to be patient but Saroja just wouldn't let it go. I don't think there was anything wrong with what Sathya said. They are showing her as a bold character - good, it was well done!

WTF is wrong with Suresh consulting Sathya. She is his cousin. Plus, even if I'm Suresh, I will stick to the name of Sundaram or Sundardeva. Because Saroja's Father is a useless bastard. He was the hardcore drunkard who wasted his money and properties by spending heftily on alcohol. He was not a decent fella. He was a pakka porruki, rowdy, thug, gangster and rogue. He was not qualified to be a man in the first place. He didn't care a damn about his family. Such a bastard. He was totally irresponsible and moronic. On the other hand, Sathya's Father, Sundaram is totally different. He was a pakka gentleman who was full of class, decency, politeness, humbleness, integrity and honour plus responsibility. He sacrificed a lot for his family's wealth and happiness although he stupidly raked debts. He was such a clean man who was alcohol-free. Devaraj Sir is also a pakka gentleman who has extremely less negativity. Of course, Suresh doesn't like his useless, hopeless bastard Grandfather. Note that Suresh is a highly matured and independent gentleman. He isn't like many children who idiotically and blindly support their Mother or Grandfather. Go to Hell. Plus, Suresh is a very decent fella, so, of course he doesn't respect and like bastards like his Grandfather. He is matured for not explaining the reason for him opposing from using his Grandfather's name. Baby naming is very essential so they should put an excellent name not a pakka porruki name. Sundaram and Devaraj's combo of Sundardeva is perfect. I like Suresh as he is pakka brilliant to write Sundardeva on all the papers. I had expected that since yesterday. Today, Suresh's great performance. Plus, some idiotic commentators even mention that Suresh should support his Mother because Sundaram has insulted and badmouthed Saroja's family which is totally false. Any proof ??? To be frank, Sathya didn't give any idea to Suresh as both of them just dicussed and it was Suresh who brought up that idea of the name. In fact, Sathya was quiet and patient all the while until that witch blatantly badmouthed Sathya's Tahsildar post and also her father. Saroja is to be fault. Sathya is 100% right. I have been bored with her being too kind and patient. Today her performance was awesome. Even if my parents are bad and terrible, I won't hesitate to accept the reality and I won't have respect for them. For me, respect is earned and not demanded or commanded. And respect is via behaviour, character and qualities of a person, NOT via family members. A pakka excellent person will only support their parents when they're right, NOT when they're wrong too. Only matured and highly educated individuals understand this, not like most of these commentators here, who think that parents and grandparents are like Gods even if their behaviour and character are like Arivudin Nambi, Gayathri and Saroja's useless Father. I'm very sure that Prakash supports Sathya and Suresh. I hope he shares his feelings and thoughts on the baby naming ceremony to Sathya once they reach home. I'm sure that Prakash will support Sathya. Karthik's looks are admirable. He was smiling and perhaps indirectly enjoying the fight. Even I would have done that. Karthik is right. In his mind, surely he would have thought, adapavi antha Saroja oda Appan oru kedukethu porombok.

I agree respect should be given to elders but it's the parents decision what their child should be named. Dharini and Suresh considered Saroja's suggestion and decided not to go with it. Saroja not only crossed boundaries by trying to force the name on them but also had too high expectations if she thought they would listen. She after all hid what the josiyar said so that the child would be named after her father. On top of that she insulted Sathya's father so Sathya talked back. Finally Saroja's father wasn't even a good person so I am not entirely sure why Saroja thought she could get away with insulting Sathya's father. Sathya tried to be patient but Saroja just wouldn't let it go. I don't think there was anything wrong with what Sathya said. They are showing her as a bold character - good, it was well done!
