Rations only increases Turret rotation if your crew has the "Rapid Aim" skill. Same with Vents. Rations have a 10% passive or 15% active increase to crew skills while Vents have a 5% increase to crew skills. So if your crew has the "Rapid Aim" skill and you have your Rations active and you have Vents installed, the "Rapid Aim" skill now provides a roughly 12% increase to turret rotation speed vice merely 10% with the skill alone. What I like about rations besides the increase to crew skills is the 10% commander XP increase. So you get an extra 10% boost to your commander XP every battle. That helps train your crews quicker. Just FYI.
Thanks for the comment! I wasn't sure if your comment about Enhanced Rations increasing Turret Rotation ONLY if you had "Rapid Aim" was correct. (These guys CHANGE so many stats/actions, without warning, that either/BOTH of us could be "right" about what we recalled.) So, I checked my (2 skills) Pz. 38H tank that did NOT have "Rapid Aim", by removing the Rations. Without Rations, the Rotation = 49.03 With Rations, it's 51.10 July 20, 2024 (it could change in the future, though) Thanks for making me check it, because you helped me make sure that I am as accurate, as possible. I really appreciate your comment!
@@dukesworldoftanks Your right, I just checked a tank without a crew and without rations it's base turret rotation was 41.88. I then put in a crew with no skills and it stayed at 41.88. I took the crew out and put rations on and it jumped to 43.64. I then put in the crew without any skills and it stayed at 43.64. I then put a crew in with just Brothers in Arms and it jumped to 45.41 (Brothers in Arms is a 10% increase to crew effectiveness). I then put a crew in it with just Rapid aim and it jumped to 48.66. Then I put in a crew with Rapid aim and Brothers in Arms and it jumped to 51.08, almost 10 points higher than the base rate. Lastly I removed the Rations from the last crew and it dropped back down to 48.66. Now I understand the rate increase with Rations and a Crew (even without Rapid Aim as it increases the base rating of the crew which is 100%). What I don't understand is how rations increase the Turret Rotation without a crew in the tank at all UNLESS the game handles a tank without a crew the same as it having a crew with no skills. I will have to research that.
Congrats on your recently aquired Challenger 2 👍🏻
Thank you for such a nice comment!
Excellent!
Thank you!
Your videos are informative and instructive thanks.

Nice skin on the Challenger 2
I forgot about THAT!
I bought it when it was on SALE for 1000 gold, knowing that I would eventually get around to playing it.
Good EYE!
I was thinking 69mm lower plate was a bit dodgy given the armour on the upper plate.
Yeah, that's what Bernie said, too.
I was blissfully ignorant...and LUCKY!
@@dukesworldoftanks Yeah well we all get or are given tanks with weak frontal plates.
Challenger-2 is better than Challenger-1? how would you feel it?
I do not have Challenger 1, so I cannot make a direct comparison.
@@dukesworldoftanks yeah , of course 2 must be better
@@papillon5537
I would believe that it is, because I think the Challenger 2 is VERY good!!!
