Weyrdlets - Freemium Tamagotchi [Demo]

Checking out the demo for Weyrdlets on Steam, and hatching our very own Weyrd! And then kinda just... poking around the tutorial? And menus? And... that's about it?
Not much to say here, really. Forced account creation to even play is sure a choice. At least they're being obvious in the DEMO about microtransactions? Even if it's a bit buggy. Though, I got it pulled up in steam and the bundle I picked was something like $20.
Came in expecting chill game, left with "and it's just another free to play cash grab". Also couldn't find an easy way to even flat-out exit the game without force closing it?
