Bow down to the LEGEND Kishore Kumar ji🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 This is my second favorite Kishore Da song, my first being “Mere Naina Sawan Bhado” (both picturized on the inimitable Rajesh Khanna ji). The lyrics of this gem...my God, Sahir Ludhianvi sahib has woven together pure magic. Sheer poetry in motion! Bollywood doesn’t make songs or films like this anymore. This golden time will never come in history again. I’m a child of the 80’s but I feel emotionally connected to films and music of the decades 1960’s through 1990’s. 90’s were my high school and college days and I honestly think the last traces of decent Bollywood films and music ended in the mid 90’s. After that it’s all been copy, paste, repeat. I feel blessed to be part of a generation that can truly appreciate music like this. May these beautiful memories live on and on through the magic of technology!
There is a popular debate that will never end. Kishore Da was the voice of Kaka. Many say KK made Kaka a, star. Some say Kaka was the making of KK.
