3:00 why not hook it up to the on/off switch on the a1up? this way it would light up when you turn in the arcade and lights off when turning off the cabinet
Question sir, with the splitter i'm assuming the other extra port is to connect with the arcade 1up's power cord so they can both work together when connecting with the main power plug? and do these buttons fit in the same holes as the original arcade up buttons like the SF II cabinet?
you need 1 splitter for the power and 1 led harness. Is this solution effected by Cabs with Light Up Marquee? I understand that 1up has added not just a Light up Marquee but also a Light Up Deck protector to some cabs including the Marvel Vs. Capcom one I have coming in on Friday. if you buy individual buttons it will be just the button and nut as not everyone needs encoder wires. You will need to add 1 "encoder" wire per button, its in the color dropdown
@@diyretroarcade I have the mortal kombat arcade 1up..so if they are soldered in,I have to buy a set of encoder wiring correct ?..I bought led buttons,wiring hardness,y splitter..i just didnt buy encoder wires because I thought they came with the led buttons

Wehave not tested on the newer cabs. The kits are stand alone so it will not mater whatever comes on the cab. It will integrate in all the same

So the other end of the splitter connects to the actual A1Up cabinet correct?
yes, the splitter hooks in right where the A1U factory power comes in
