@@equestrianrosie That's an interesting thought, and you're right-Future Viktor definitely didn't mean it that way. Considering everything Jayce went through and the psychological toll it clearly took on him, it's no wonder he was so desperate and felt like he had no other choice. If we assume Viktor only said what was actually shown in the series, I honestly can't blame Jayce. If he had known the consequences of his actions, he might have reconsidered.
