Muhammad Meman and those who think like him are crucial for the long term success of British Muslims and the ummah more generally. His and those like him must have their voices elevated and must be provided with the platform and funding they require. May Allah azzawajal accept Muahmmad Meman's efforts and make true his ambitions. Ameen.
I think what many people fail to understand about the TMV is that it's not just one person with one view. There are many people with many different views in the organisation and ultimately, after they undertake shura, they have to settle on one decision. I'm not sure how your approach is superior to theirs..ultimately, organisations like the TMV are about Muslims learning to work with one another, rather than getting caught up in whether one specific tactic is the ideal tactic or not. Too many individuals out there with "great ideas" but ultimately, they are unable to work with others...so quite frankly, who cares about their idea?
