LEE has always been the innovators in reloading. It's a blessing and a curse that they use so much plastic in their equipment. It keeps it all inexpensive, but the parts wear out. I contend that if LEE were to offer a premium line of equipment with the plastic bits upgraded to more robust parts, people would eventually step up to the more expensive line once they were familiar and comfortable reloading. That said, this press is an absolute beast when it comes to decapping. I highly recommend buying this press and the decapping kit, and using it exclusively for decapping. Let it get filthy. A dedicated decapping press like this is a small price to pay for the sheer speed and ease of use. I timed myself this morning and decapped 1000 pieces of 9mm brass in 45 minutes. It was so fast that I was compelled to make a comment here on how well it works.
I too have always thought Lee should have a premium grade of their products. Great ideas but if you're going to reload in the volumes some of us do the plastic components will wear out.
This press has been discontinued by Lee for good reason. It's a PITA to get working properly. I have spent countless frustrating hours trying to get this press to work smoothly. Today Lee informed me that they have discontinued this item but they offered me a way to upgrade my APP press into a press that they say will work. I have already spent more money than I should have so I'll pass on spending any more.
I have the app. For depriming 308 and 223 it's an amazing time saver. Far beyond My expectations. I use the 4 tube feed system. The collator isn't good for rifke brass, so just grab a few neck up and they fall right in with good technique...only takes a minute to load them takes about the same to deprime them all... Very Pleased. Now.... Lol... I want the priming press.
So when you purchase this press what comes the the press. Do you have to purchase certain kind of die kits or can I use my Lee 9mm die’s I have now. Do they sell the die’s together like the regular 3 die kit
It's around the same price maybe a bit more, I'm doing a video right now on the decap kit. It appears it may be able to size bullets using the shell holder adapter from the APP but that part is out of stock

I have the Lee APP I use for Bullet sizing after powdercoat but I was thinking of getting this one to decap/prime. Thanks for putting this up.
Very nice piece of kit. That should make priming big batches of brass rather easy. Thanks for the video K24. Echo
Thanks for watching!
nice big handle to double prime. nice
I hope not too 🤔🙄👀😂
I just put up a unboxing video of mine - had some issues which I worked out - will do another video of the press in action
It works pretty darn good, just got the decap kit to try today
@@K24-d4d I ordered one of those kits today
@@andy79z28 they were out of stock I ordered mine last week
Thank you great video

I thought I was already subbed but apparently not 😕 Good Stuff Brother that ought to to make priming a Snap 👍
Looks decent but only if you already have all the APP add ons I'm thinking
I agree, might not be for you!
@@K24-d4d Priming isn't the bottle neck in my set up, the actual APP would be nice just for sizing and swaging, though.
@@DummyRound yep I agree, the decap only feature is nice for range brass, and depending on case cleaning preferences
Looks good. How did the primes look seated? Would of liked to see that.
The primers seat nice, I'm using it for 9mm pistol rounds
@@K24-d4d thanks 👍
pretty neat 👍
Nice review. Pretty cool.
Thanks man, more to come!
Does this push down on the case mouth or shoulder to seat the primer?

Do they sell the die’s together like the regular 3 die kit
The main function is for priming brass, and depriming brass using the optional kit, thanks for watching
That’s pretty cool
That is very slick, 👍
It works well I'm liking it
cool!! does this cost more or less than the APP ??

Anyone want to buy a Lee auto bench primer? I'm getting one of these.
Neat
Anyone having primers turning sideways. It's usually the 2nd primer that turn sideways. I gotta figure how fix that.
Is the feeding tube 300 blackout friendly?
In all fairness i run ths press almost exclusively for 9mm, occasionally hand feed SRP 50 at a time
Go to the lock spot and the primers wont fall out
I have the same tray for the bench prime, the lock was on, not all friendly, I usually block the drop with a pencil but not able to in this case
@@K24-d4d have lee send u some more. I have 3 that's work fine.
I have ordered other spares from them, guess I just figured they all do that
