Pete Holmes this reminds me of the hours I spent as a youth on the hog farm. I was 13 or 14 and I had a single shot .22 rifle. The rats would accommodate me as they ran across the top of the fences. It was a great exercise back then and help me easily attained Navy rifle EXPERT when I joined up later. But you’re right, I wish I had someplace I could go do this now that I’m 72 years old.

@@scottymorgan7868 Kind of wrong but i get it. Where you mistaken is = the battle of dunkirk took place in 1940. The US army came in 1944. It wasn't a retreat from France, in fact they gattered troops there in order to give time to the british escape. Check out Wikipedia for it, it might actually explain pretty much how the german took Paris. To quote Wikipedia, France sended around 120 000 soldiers there, where around 20 000 were killed, 35 000 captured as they hold the position as much as they could, the rest got on the ships after evacuating the british as they were nothing left of the city. (dunkirk was 90 percent destroyed after that battle). Few hours after the French troops return to France with some divisions, but didnt manage to get close to Paris in Time, just a few days later, the german entered paris. Dunkirk was a major loss as a lot of supplies were lost there. In fact lots of people think the problem was the decision of sending that much troops in one front. The rest of it is pretty much everything you know. In case i want to mention = im not trying to be a smart ass or nothing, but just to say there is more to it, read about it on wikipedia it's pretty damn interesting.

I enjoyed this, you are a damned good shot. I remember shooting rats on a chicken farm when I was much much younger. It was a job that needed to be done, however, it was also fun target practice, I am willing to admit I enjoyed it. If that makes me a sicko, then so be it - at least I am honest about it. I am pretty sure I'd enjoy doing so again, despite being a 59 yr old granny. Then again, I enjoy the sport of shooting. Rats and mice are they only creature that I've shot and have NOT eaten. For all other hunting, I follow the rule that if you shoot it, you eat it, with the exception of rats and mice! LOL Love game meats of all sorts and never have felt bad about hunting game and eating game.

If rats have no food and water for a cuple of days and one of them dies, the other rats starts eating their died buddy. I saw this with my own eyes when the owner of the rats in a cage did not care about his animals.

These are excellent videos and you guys don't know how lucky you are. I had planned for a long time to buy a Gamo Swarm Maxxim. But I live in New Jersey, which has some of the most repressive gun laws in the U.S. You need to go through a bureaucratic hassle just to buy a BB gun. So when I was ready to order the Gamo I found out that none of the FFL dealers in New Jersey would handle the sale because the Swarm Maxxim is suppressed and ANY type of firearm suppressor is illegal in this state. Air rifles are considered firearms in New Jersey. So I am deeply disappointed.
What are you shooting? It sounds like a bolt action repeater but I don't know of any pallet guns that fir that discription. A .22 with CB caps perhaps?

I went to a fellas house near a swampy part of the river in N. Carolina. Man had hogs goats and chickens free ranging everywhere! Set there a talkin to him and boy when the sun went down im talkin huge wolf rats 24" long tail and all, were running all down the fence rows, down the barn wall. Everywhere you looked they were running. I got the help up out a dar!

What are you shooting? It sounds like a bolt action repeater but I don't know of any pallet guns that fir that discription. A .22 with CB caps perhaps?

I went to a fellas house near a swampy part of the river in
N. Carolina. Man had hogs goats and chickens free ranging everywhere! Set there a talkin to him and boy when the sun went down im talkin huge wolf rats 24" long tail and all, were running all down the fence rows, down the barn wall. Everywhere you looked they were running. I got the help up out a dar!
