The melancholy but beautiful tone of this really fits Zeta as a whole. A lovely, sad song that makes you think, reminisce, and wish things had been a little different....
@@Hafiz_7178 I would probably recommend watching the original zeta first. The only real thing that the movies have over the original is animation, and the voice acting for some of the side characters. It also helps that every episode of original zeta is free to watch on RUclips.

Some newcomers to anime don't like old animation, but I have so much respect for the animators hand drawing those smoke and beam effects. They still look awesome.
Its insane to me that people couldn't like the older animation. The details and crispness of everything is so nice to look at, and the colours always look fantastic. I appreciate modern animation for what it is, but older stuff like this and Armoured Trooper Votoms will always be king.

@@7xAce At least the 3D animation style they insist on using now has been getting better. The 2016 Berserk show was so ugly and choppy it was unwatchable to me. There's a new Patlabor coming out, but it looks very smooth, so I'm glad they waited to bring it back.
Honestly one of the most impressive pieces of animation in the opening (in my opinion) isn't the smoke at the start, but the incredibly realistic warped reflection on Kamille's helmet visor when he gives the thumbs up at 1:14.
This was a very very experimental period from Gundams lifetime, when it was still giguring out what it was. And i think it gave us the most unique an outgoing gundam series we've ever had.
This really contrasts the first original OP tone to the tonal shift in the series at this point. The first has a sort of brooding, perseverance energy whereas this reflects the loss that’s gone on in the show to this point and what’s to come.
when Quatro fought both haman n the guy in The-O suit..i know it..char will make his betrayal entrance..since we know char will never ever fought if he know he gonna lose..still hyaku shiki vs 2 up to date suit will be one of best gundam fight in my list..with underpower suit + great pilot..no wonder char/Quatro have a lot of fan.. i dnt sad in that scenes that char lose since we all know.. thats fight was handicap match in the first place..😂

WANNA BANG_ " The only character that became anyway likable was Scirocco, because he seemed to be the only one who genuinely cared for the people under his command. And the Titans? What a joke! From being these intelligent scary as hell people in 0083 to these absolute clowns that couldn't even conquer a fastfood resturant. I tell ya'. I liked Z Gundam a hell a lot more when I had no idea what they were doing because I couldn't read Japanese ( _UC Climax on PS2_ ). At least there they made it seem all dramatic and serious. Just massive disappointment from seeing the show.

2001, was downloading (half) eps of this on dialup. When I saw the portion with Amuro on-screen, I nearly cried.
