Last year they ran Holo Summer right up against the EN live concert which I’m sure was super stressful. This year the concert is a bit later so they could do both BUT Advent has 3D coming up soon with REGLOSS after them so maybe they do skip this year.
These things must be planned out a year before they happen huh?

@@niki1292 Too bad cuz on the recent Q4 financial reports their revenue and profits came from Events and Merchandise Streaming doesn't even come close.
Not only that but they announce that they will debut less Gens more than normal and will focus on the current talents.
Honestly i dont mind. We have the world tour, holo City (i think) and en concert. Holosummer is just a bit too big too squeeze in the schedule; let the ladies breathe 😅

I find the gravure-ish nature of holollive summer quite awkward, especially when it's an official (mandatory?) event where clearly not all the members are particularly into the idea.

ngl, I'm kind of glad there is no summer event this year.
It's getting to the point where there are just way too many events to keep track of and keep up with. I'm happy with where we are now. Hell, I'd even say to cut it back on events even more, but that's just me.
I think it's fine if they don't have HoloSummer every year. It makes it feel a bit more special that way.

I mean we getting pretty much a lot so ain't no way around it since it is quite limited to what extent they can operate if they have only a fixed amount of talents for each event.
This feels like a tease, plus the first proper Holosummer stream last year was on july first... however I wouldnt mind it this year's Holosummer is extremely lowkey/nothing tbh. At least in EN we already are preparing for Breaking dimensions and Advent's 3D so...

I was so confused because I swore they announced plans for HoloSummer at this years EXPO. But then I looked up and its technically a new HoloCity project for this summer. SO I guess City and Summer are two different projects. Last year they happened around the same time so I considered them the same.

It's understandable with all the plans that will cover the entire summer the EN concert, The world Tour, HoloCity, Advent and ReGloss 3D debut its fine if they can wait another year for another bikini costume also less debut to focus on their current talent is a smart move else we be another Company A situation here and we don't want 2 Company A now would we right fellas.

Also fubuki subaru and mio mentioned last year there is no holofes i mean the minecraft one. they all said the fes is rush and they needed more time and money to be prepared also a lot of event is coming this year world tour and a lot of 3d concerts. That is understandable they want their events to be properly ogranized and also its stressful if many of their events are rushed and not properl prepared.
with Cover deciding to focus on doing more activities and supporting the talents, it's understandable if they have a backlog of events that might cancel the whole Summer Event thing this year

I wonder if part of things were due to how certain parts of last year's was troubled.
That and if it's just swimsuits it'd be good as some want to relax, some want to do other things

I think the reason they pause the holo-summer for now is:
They might stress the talents too much, like gura's situation before where she took long breaks from streaming probably because of a lot of endorsement offers and litteral idol meetings and greetings for multiple sponsored events.
For me i think it's for the best that they take more breaks like this..
Yagoo making great decisions better than some managements out there.
No Hololive Summer at all is lame :/ But I guess the last 2 years they've just had copypasted swimsuits anyway, so it doesn't feel like much of a loss compared to that
