Hi wild man. I'm the guy from Dayton who has asked a question or two on your videos. Finally found an ADV150! Zanesville. Called at 9:30am, they informed me 3 calls already. So I put a deposit, hooked up the trailer and made the trip. Now I have a brand new 2022 ADV. Much better than my Yamaha MT03. The first 30 miles I got 95 mpg. Would love to meet up sometime. Feel free to contact me. Thanks for the "research" videos.
Hey man, nice! Thanks for reaching out. Glad to hear you finally found one. Shoot me a message sometime. My email can be found on my channel about area. ✌️😎
I just bought the windscreen in smoke from your Amazon page. I enjoy your content. I was planning on getting it anyways. Thought I would buy it through you to show my appreciation for all your hard work putting up videos. Keep them coming.
Hey, I appreciate that! Very kind of you. 🙏 I enjoy creating the videos, but very time consuming since I do everything myself. Comments like this are the motivation creators love to read. That's more gratifying than anything else. 😊
The PSLER Windscreen helps reduce wind force compared to the stock windscreen, especially at lower speeds. 👍 Have you upgraded your windscreen yet? If so, do you notice a difference?
Scooter is good in most all aspects except you can't see the speedo and other information on the console in the daytime! Nighttime viewing is fine with the backlighting but daytime is horrific. Anyone have a "fix". Changing the backlight brightness does nothing for daytime viewing.
I've never experienced an issue with this because the display has a reflective material (forget the term) specifically for bright light viewing. Mine works fantastic. I wonder if something else is going on. Has it been like this since you've owned it? Maybe there's some defect in that particular display. Just thinking out loud... Hmmm.
@@Trekopolis Thanks for the prompt reply. If the light is shining on the console, you can see it. If it's not shining on it, you can hardly see it--must lean over and look at it closely. You would think light shining on it (day light) would cause a problem but it appears to be the opposite. I've also noticed you can't see the display when you are watching videos that people post. Notice at 9:08 on your video you can see the speed but that is all. You can't read the other information without leaning over and looking at it closely.
@@vagent101 Gotcha! Yeah, it's not the best LCD unit in the world, I understand what you're saying. I guess I haven't noticed that much cause I don't pay too much attention to the other prompts, only monitor speed on occasion. Maybe that's why I get razzed for going 35 in a 25. I can blame the LCD. Thanks for the suggestion! ;) All kidding aside, I honestly don't have an issue with it, but I do see your point. It could be better and I think the new model (2023) has a brighter display.
Ordered one in smoke after seeing your original review. Have to admit the low price at the time was an incentive! I like it especially in the tinted color and works well for my riding style. Thanks for the update too👍
If I had it to do over I'd opt for the smoke color because I see over the screen with no problem and it looks nicer on the bikes. Either one is fine though and I'm happy with it regardless.
Wen I bought m6 AZdV new I was told about a Honda Warranty offered for $500.00 for 5 yr. Unlimited mileage. A long story short , scooter salesman advised me I had a year to purchase the extended warranty after the sale. Time has now passed and two yrs. Later I have decided to purchase a warranty but now it won’t be a Honda offered warranty. Now I can still buy a warranty for $600.00 for 3 yrs coverage only. My Honda dealer charges about $150.00 an hr.currently so it won’t take long to recoup cost of warranty. If needed. Peace of mind is worth the investment if needed.🤔👍
Some people don't have the tools, time, mechanical ability, or the desire to work on machines and there's nothing wrong with extended warranties. A peaceful mind is a happy one. 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the great reviews. I just picked up a 2025 adv160 and I measured the windshield at 21 inches and I think it's a fail. Do you think the oem windshield is significantly bigger than the original size ? I thought I could get a quick upgrade but now I'm thinking the aftermarket might not have them ready for the 2025 adv160. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
im waiting on that windscreen my self just got back from riding to Mayfield hts ohio from findlay to see family i cant wait im sure this will help alot on those long rides
I forgot how much it helped until I lowered the Windscreen and noticed the difference. I always keep it at the highest, but it does reduce fatigue and the constant annoying blast on the torso and face for sure. Enjoy the trip and be safe out there!
Looks good but only 2" taller? If going to a taller profile seems like around 4-6" taller than stock would get the wind above your eyes/head. Thanks for sharing
Yep, but screens are not readily available yet, at least when I was searching. At the time it was less expensive and it is wider in other areas so it does a decent job. I've been pleased with it. 👍
Good evening Scott. First off I love the jersey you are wearing. I'm a fellow Cincinnatian and love the Reds and Bengals. I was wondering if you by chance have a windshiel line this for a 2022 PCX 160?. Thanks in advance.
Hey Brian! Thanks for the comment. The Windscreen on the ADV160 is already higher than the ADV150 at stock. It has an interesting air intake as well, but I'm not sure what the feedback has been on it yet. Marketed in Indonesia I've not seen them in the US. Aftermarket accessories for the ADV160 I'm sure will eventually be available. Good sources are Facebook Groups for that particular model.
@@douglasboyd8475 I wouldn't think so. I've talked to people taller than that and it seems fine for them. Yep, gears can get annoying at times, I hear that. Well, whatever you decide on good luck and be safe out there.
Hi bud. You and I got the same wind screen beside that mine is tinted or darker. I actually used the lower level on the aftermarket windscreen and did not like it Too much wind. Maybe because I’m 6 feet tall so I put it back on the higher level but definitely better than the stock windscreen
I weigh 215 and I've climbed some fairly steep inclines and it surprisingly pulls very well and steady. You're not going to break any land speed records, but it does the job well enough to not hold up cars behind you at normal speeds.

@@scottdavis9318 I had to find where I put my original wind screen. The length is 19"
Hey Big guy! Do you happen to know if the fit is the same for a 2022 adv 150? On Amazon, the item description says 2019,2020, and 2021…
Yep! Good to go! 👍🏻
Hello Scott. Quick question. How many inches is your windshield? I ordered one on ebay that is 26 inches.
Just measured, 19.75 inches from bottom to top.
Sometimes the taller screens hit the mirrors, but there's extenders you can get so it's not a huge deal. Just keep that in mind.

The taller ones, the mirrors will hit when turned
Bar end mirrors are great solution and bar end mirrors look great imo

Hey can you do a hand guard review and install video.
Funny you mention this. I planned on investing in hand guards for sure. Making mental note. 🧐 Thanks! Will do.
