I watched this a while ago. July 13th 2017, 4 AM. I paused the video somewhere in the middle to get up and pet my sleeping cat. I didn’t think much of how much she was twitching in her sleep but that’s kind of important. I went to give her a kiss on the face. But she was spooked by my presence and out of reflexes attacked. I received a very large gash right under my eye as well as other cuts, a very long one behind my leg that I wouldn’t find until the next day. A thick piece of skin was hanging off my lower eyelid as I looked in the mirror panicking. I woke up my mom and we went to the hospital. I thought it was ironic because the song 9/11 was playing in my head. I got dermabond glue stitches because the gash was too close to my eye for real stitches. It healed and it just a scar now right under my right eye. Tyler’s Flower Boy album basically takes me back to this time. So does this video especially. And how much I regret pausing it. I should have just watched through the whole thing, turned off my computer, and went to bed. I guess moral of the story would be to not kiss your cat on the face while they’re having a bad dream. A lot of models, regardless of the medium (print, runway, etc) have serious expressions on their faces because it sells clothing better. I forgot where I read this (it may have been on quora actually) but if someone is smiling at you, you feel like you're at their level. Whereas if they're not smiling or even acknowledging you, you feel like they're out of your league. That's why they look straight forward on the runway and don't smile- so you begin to view their clothes as the thing that is making them "above you" or higher class. It makes them more elite, and the consumer wants to be elite also, so they will be more likely to buy the clothes.

I watched this a while ago. July 13th 2017, 4 AM. I paused the video somewhere in the middle to get up and pet my sleeping cat. I didn’t think much of how much she was twitching in her sleep but that’s kind of important. I went to give her a kiss on the face. But she was spooked by my presence and out of reflexes attacked. I received a very large gash right under my eye as well as other cuts, a very long one behind my leg that I wouldn’t find until the next day. A thick piece of skin was hanging off my lower eyelid as I looked in the mirror panicking. I woke up my mom and we went to the hospital. I thought it was ironic because the song 9/11 was playing in my head. I got dermabond glue stitches because the gash was too close to my eye for real stitches. It healed and it just a scar now right under my right eye. Tyler’s Flower Boy album basically takes me back to this time. So does this video especially. And how much I regret pausing it. I should have just watched through the whole thing, turned off my computer, and went to bed. I guess moral of the story would be to not kiss your cat on the face while they’re having a bad dream. Should be common sense but it was 4 am I wasn’t thinking. Anyways. I guess that’s all I wanted to say. Have a good day.

A lot of models, regardless of the medium (print, runway, etc) have serious expressions on their faces because it sells clothing better. I forgot where I read this (it may have been on quora actually) but if someone is smiling at you, you feel like you're at their level. Whereas if they're not smiling or even acknowledging you, you feel like they're out of your league. That's why they look straight forward on the runway and don't smile- so you begin to view their clothes as the thing that is making them "above you" or higher class. It makes them more elite, and the consumer wants to be elite also, so they will be more likely to buy the clothes.
