The family’s pitbull suddenly reacted to movement near the barn door. Moments later, unexplained noises were captured on camera. No intruder was found. No animals were missing.

I get up at 3am on my farm in Australia. And my dogs wake up at around 4. But if they hear or see anything, they will do their best to get it. I had a tourist get lost here in the outback "so he said" and was on my property which in itself is odd as I'm 12 hours from a city and 8ookms from the nearest hospital and 7 hours from the nearest town and my neighbor is 5 hours away. He tried breaking into my farm shed and I heard something so I let my dogs out. My dogs are working cattle dogs and they know how to hunt etc and be security for me. Each coat mW thousands and they are the best at what they do. They pinnedbthe guy to the ground and would have ripped him apart if I let them. I pointed my leaver action Winchester rifle at him and told him he had 30 seconds to explain why he is on a property in the middle of nowhere breaking into my farm shed. He stammered and I said 25. He apparently got lost and ran out of fuel. He was an Australian but I reckon he was a junky looking for copper wire or anything to sell. I said break and entering is still a crime and as far as the local police are concerned, I'm so isolated here I am basically the police for the farm which is 140+²miles in size. I duct taped his hands and I used my upgraded and improved Huey helicopter I use for emergencies, flying to Brisbane on business and helpingbpolice search for lost people in the outback if needed. I flew an hour to the police station and they took him and arrested him for attempted break in and carrying a large knife he had in his sock. He was charged and I flew to where he said he had broken down and there was his van. It wasn't broken down and he had been camping on the side of the road and his van was full of stolen tools etc. Very odd but not unheard of. In other country towns like where I have another farm, we often get people stealing machinery, tools, chemicals etc. Since this guy was arrested there's been no other incidents like it. Considering how isolated it is, this like this just shouldn't happen.

It's a farm dog. A working dog. He will have a dog house and shelter when he needs it, but make no mistake. This isn't one of the eternal puppies we have in our homes. This is a dog allowed to mature. Not a pet.
