How important are learning minors outside of the 2 and 6 in gospel? Just looking to learn

I find it helpful if I’m ever playing songs that are actually in minor keys to know my minor scales. It helps to give you a better understanding of the way the harmonies are structured as it relates to minor keys. There are always different levels. I find that even basic concepts on the piano can become complex the deeper you dive into them, but it unlocks deeper understanding of music theory in general the more you work at it.
