Why does this movie get so much hate, I personally thought it was a dark, fun, mysterious, ominous, horror film, it really has that old Disney vibe, that makes you feel like it’s an old Disney film released years ago. The fact that it was filmed without Disney’s permission gives it even more creepier vibes. The score in the background was AMAZING 👏👏👏It actually felt so surreal like an old Disney score from the 1930’s or 1940’s. Overall I love this movie as a fun cult horror film to watch. It gets more sh’t than it deserves.
it is pretty bizarre how it lines up with some conspiracy theories, even without like an extreme conspiracy theorist's eye (and DEFINITELY with one lol...the pool scene has an even more insidious connotation if you read anything on 'pizzagate' or whatever hashtag it has now) and the fact that disney never raised any real legal problems with the movie? i dont know what it is, but it feels like they either 'secretly' made the movie themselves (which would be very possible, and clever) or somebody with some dirt on somebody made it...I dont know I'm getting into that 'conspiracy' state of mind again but I fucking hate Disney/their 'empire'/etc with a passion so I actually really enjoyed this movie. Particularly for the whacky things that lined up with conspiracy theories. Though that is always fun to me, I even enjoy the super mario brothers movie because I see it more like "david icke: the movie" lol. and i dont have to believe or doubt any of it 100 percent to find any of it interesting, enjoyable or worth looking into (whatever your reason may be). sorry long response you did not want 3 years ago or now is now overrrr sorry lol
Ashley Williams Actually it was due to their inability to control the lighting because they’d be super obvious if they were dragging a bunch of equipment around. They had to be subtle. By making it black and white, it meant that the shots would look more consistent despite having unpredictable lighting conditions lol simpleton
This movie had so much potential, and it could have been a ground-breaker. But there is a problem. In the words of the late Roger Ebert, I hated it, hated it, hated it, HATED IT!!!!!!!! This was the most boring piece of shit I have ever seen. I watched it for about 75 minutes, and it is 75 minutes of my life I will never get back. I kept to be scared, but I was just bored. My Randy Moore rot in hell for wasting my time with this piece of shit!!!!
