What is the process for obtaining a German language A1 certificate? Can that be obtained directly from the site you are recommending, Lingoda?

No unfortunately Lingodas certificates are not accepted, but it did prepare me for the test when I got here. What I did was take a test at a school here Austria that can provide the A1 certificate.

How expensive is Europe to live in compared to the US?

Hey Anthony ! The cost of living is comparable to the US here in Austria, but trying to buy an apartment or property here is outrageous !
Switzerland on the other hand is way more expensive in every regard and I don't go to Switzerland very often for that reason.

Different. I live on the french border and french people come to out stores all the time to buy stuff cheaper, while we go to their gas stations, because they're cheaper. Some countries in Europe are more expensive than others. Even regions in the countries, for example Bodensee in this video is one of the most expensive places in Germany, while the northeast is a lot cheaper. I would say that overall the US is more expensive than most of Europe, but its not that easy to tell for the overall.
