I don't speak Swedish. I haven't looked up the English translation of this song yet....but...I LOVE IT....and that's purely because of the emotion he conveys with his voice

I'm Swedish, and the best thing about this song, which I rarely find/come across, is that it is *gender unspecified* . I find it relatable in a whole new way having it like that. You don't have to make any kind of mental correction if you find it relatable, like me who draw inspiration from songs to draw/doodle/write stories. Refreshing to say the least! 🥰
i noticed during his interview where he talks about the song that he never specifies the gender. he only says "that person" and stuff. more and more reasons to love this song with my heart.

I’m very concerned at the lack of attention dealing with this masterpiece.
It's not actually. This song apparently was on top 50 swedish on spotify and had certified gold. But I agree the lack of attention on his youtube is pretty shocking🥺

As a Swede, I love the way he have written the song because he doesn’t use any specific gendered pronoun. He uses “Du” which means you and it makes me feel like he sings about the person listening
