A short impromptu recording session performing traditional English song Scarborough Fair. The arrangement is based on Simon & Garfunkel recording from 1968 and I added the melody to that as well.
Due to copyright issues (falling under the category of derivative works) unfortunately there will be no score available for this cover, sorry!

simply awesome performance. most beautiful piece of music.
Many thanks!
Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (in the deep forest green)
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
(Tracing of sparrow on snow-crested ground)
Without no seams nor needle work
(Bedclothes the child of the mountain)
Then she'll be a true love of mine
(Sleeps unaware of the clarion call)
Tell her to find me an acre of land
(A sprinkling of leaves)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
(Washes the grave with silvery tears)
Between the salt water and the sea strands
(And polishes a gun)
Then she'll be a true love of mine
Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather
(Blazing in scarlet battalions)
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
(Generals order their soldiers to kill)
And gather it all in a bunch of heather
(A cause they've long ago forgotten)
Then she'll be a true love of mine

The best cover on RUclips! Amazing ❤️ have you got tabs?
Thank you! Available now, please check in the description.
@@UrosGuitar what software can you advice for creating tabs and/or sheet music? i mean where we can correctly use voicings, positions and all that specific guitar stuff
@@twistingstrings Check out Musescore
Now in my seventieth year, this song is as strongly evocative as it was when I first heard it in 1968. Very, very special time back then, with first loves, the beginning of social awareness in me, and the angst of trying to know who I was and what life meant. This song is deep beyond words - those coming of age at that time, as I was, will know what I’m saying.
Beautifully written, thanks! Uros
I'm a 91 born single man who absolutely adores Guitars, Simon and Garfunkel, and the Graduate (1967). I can't wait to fall in love and experience it! ❤️
@@UrosGuitar Thank you…and by the way, your guitar playing of this beautiful piece of music is simply OUTSTANDING.
That's really true , it is so deep. Love it.
it always will be, long after all of our deaths. a song that stands through time

Have always loved the guitar in this tune. Your arrangement brought it to a new level my friend!
Thank you!
Do you. Mean the capo
This is one of the most beautiful melodies in the world.
Had a few versions of this piece and never been totally satisfied until now. The addition of chording towards the end is a pleasant surprise. Gives this medieval piece some justice.
Late on a Sunday night, just on a musical stroll thru the ether and I stumbled on magic… simply breathtaking. Music like this is what our society should be paying millions to hear.
I’ve loved this melody for as long as I can remember. Beautifully done!
Im a violin player and figured guitar would be cool to play too but im having a hard time picking it up and practicing but every time i hear this song i just pick it up and start going at it.
Uhhh... that's absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful! Well done, sir!
Thanks so much!
This looked unreal, really want to learn this.
Yeah, when I've finished learning electric, I'm gonna give acoustic a shot
Capo, on the low note of B on the low E string, I never would have guessed. Rarely do I use a capo, maybe now again.
I would like to hear a non-specific, free form of guitar playing, no explanation needed. Like walking through the woods, with or without anyone. People hear the energy you project.

Im somebody who has trouble with sleeping due to alot of things, but honestly I could fall asleep to this. Its comforting and reminds me of better times, Thank you. This has a big impact on me.
Thanks, means a lot!
Teach me please how to play this exactly the way you played. Wow!!
Thank you, nice rendition of a classic fave.
Marvellous!!
This is perfection. The intro is flawless and really a hypnotic intro. acoustic guitar at it’s most beautiful
Wow, thank you!
Breathtakingly beautiful!
Nice one!
I learned this many years ago - sans melodie! But you put the capo even two frets higher than I. It gives it almost a bell-chime kind of feeling. Was this done in your studio? What post processing?
Yes, I put capo on 7th fret, exactly what Paul Simon did. Very little post processing, only a little Oxford Reverb and Inflator were used I think.
This is so beautiful, great job once again!
This is perfect!!!!
Wow! Question: Can I use this in one of my upcoming videos for youtube? Full credits to you obviously. Please let me know!

Great version. Is the score available?

$12 for sheet music? Scam artist.
Unfortunately the price is not set by us artists, it’s up to Musicnotes and the original publishers/copyright holders… a very, very small percentage of this money goes to artists. A little background check wouldn’t hurt when making this kind of comments…
Simply flawless.
I love it.

Oh great, wow! Happy to read this!
bro nice cover
So beautiful ! Can we get the tablature ?
Great sounding version, congrats on the arrangement! One question regarding techinque as i'm figuring out some fingerstyle stuff as well - your right seems to be very steady, do you anchor it somehow (like part of the hand on the bridge or some other way) or is it more loose with just the fingers having contact with strings? Thanks!
this is truly pleasant to hear
As usual, Wonderful!! Nice, airy vibe from the Earthworks mics. Well done!
Thanks! :)
Wonderful rendition Uros - sounds beautiful.
