Nice video, I liked seeing both directions, I think Northbound was more interesting, the mountain views were really dramatic in spots, very cool!

crazy traffic through there. Amazing how busy greater Los Angeles is so far outside the city.

@FreewayBrent It's amazing the amount of people commuting between Temecula and Escondido...

A bit of good news. The commute along CA 91 has improved quite a bit. Part of it is due to the housing bust, but CA 91 also received an extra lane in each direction between CA 241 and CA 71 last year. Commute times during peak hours have been subsequently reduced by more than half, since that widening project was finished. By no means is this an easy commute, but it's no longer the nightmare it once was. Friday's in the eastbound direction are still pretty bad, but still not like before.

I use to live in Perris CA. and Riverside. I would have to take 60 to I-215 south from Riverside when I worked out there. The freeways are like a parking lot no matter what freeway you are on in So Cal. Going to the OC on that 91 is the worst. I'll be moving back there this August from Tacoma Wa. I'll have to get use to it again.

Another overhead sign gantry like the one at 2:03 can also be found on I-15 north of San Diego (the section with the new HOT lanes).

Yeah, it really is. I-15 even climbs to above 200,000 vpd, where I-215 and I-15 meet around Murriett and near Temecula, That's somewhere in the league of what, 90 miles from L.A.???
