Considering I designed this logo for my friends Adrian and Steven Weiss way back in 1979 I never thought anyone would give a rat's ass about it at all. It was originally meant for their print catalogs and individual show flyers where it was reproduced in black on white. I never had anything to do with how they eventually animated it (both in B&W AND COLOR!) nor did I pick the synthesizer effects track ( which admittedly startled me!). Nice to see some of you nerds out there in Re-run Land have even bothered to weigh-in on this! I'm O-U-T!
😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍 I always thought that this particular logo reminded me of going with my parents (when I was a boy) to look at carpets/carpet colors, home decor stuff, stuff like that. 😁😁😁😁
I like this logo. Its very stone/right angle kind of an aesthetic... To go a step further, it does suggest long shopping trips with my parents, only when they have shopped for things more like carpets, etc. Also visits with my mom, etc., to folks that have lots of "brick", solid colored toys, building blocks, etc. There is a similar aesthetic to the Children's Television Workshop "snake" or pink "S" logo, in this respect, esp. with the quartal/secundal motivic motion in the snake logo...
Thanks also to Kit Parker himself, who pointed out where the color logo could be found. Now, we just need RUclips evidence of the shortered color version, and on top of that, was there a short B/W version too?
Not only was this colorized Weiss Global Enterprises logo taken from the 1️⃣9️⃣3️⃣8️⃣ movie 🎬 JEZEBEL, it was also taken at the end of the short-lived CBS sitcom GOOD 👍 MORNING 🌞, WORLD 🌎.
This was only shown on the “Danny Thomas Show (aka ‘Make Room For Daddy’)”, and it’s now on IMDb TV, but sadly, this logo got replaced by Paul Brownstein Productions and FilmRise logos, and you will not be showing this logo on the entire series of “Make Room For Daddy” on IMDb TV ever again.

Seriously? You designed this?
@@JMFabiano Yeah I Did.
The design of the logo didn't scare me. The music did.
Wonder what a updated version would look like
At least the music doesn't blow your eardrums out in this version.

Don't put your Colecovision in the microwave!
0:09 on is pretty much all you'd hear during the short version.
From The Clay-Clays & Friday Night Funkin' by Ralph Bakshi from 1976
Never thought this has a color version.. Looks awesome!

James Fabiano FYI you can see the short version in the Paley Center.
This theme is nice.
ah, its beautiful,
and clean too,
I love this logo due to the retro style of it.
Holy smoke! Never seen this until now!
Me either. Someone in their 50's in the RUclips comments recommended watching this logo.
Holy crud!
I've never seen this colored version of this logo before.
it's also in bright red, & one in kelly green; the colors used are beautiful❕
Way to go, LogicSmash, now we finally know what Weiss Global Enterprises looks like in color and it does have texture the whole time, right?
Aired on USA Network after a presentation of the 1983 movie "The Big Chill" on December 11, 1996.

we of doom
Why did willams street stole the building
By "Jezebel", do you mean the 1938 movie starring Bette Davis, or another "Jezebel".
Stereo (ala Mono) Version!
Michael Jackson's glove fabric is used in this logo?😂
It looks more tame than the B&W one...
Scare Factor: Low to high. The ultra avant-garde synth music is still there, but the darkness is gone and the lightness is there.
Futureisc theme

No terrimerry on this one
This was taken from "Make Room For Daddy".
Musicradio77 Television Network Nope, the movie Jezebel.
Plays twice in the beginning and end of it.
Weiss Global Enterprises Made From Atari Game Of Doom
Its No Scary
That logo really was horrible. Color or not. Too long and that synthesizer noise isn't good for anyone's ears.
