@@G.Faustini A versão country do americano Merle Travis, "Sixteen Tons" de 1946. George Davis disse ser o autor da música em 1966, pois havia escrito em 1936. Porém nada concreto. Teve o Tennessee Ernie Ford que regravou em 1955 que foi estouro. Somente gravado em 1971 por Noriel Vilela, a conhecida "16 Toneladas". Tiveram vários cantores que regravaram, traduziram e cantaram versões dessa música. Inclusive a versão espanhola de José Guardiola em 1960.
