Jake dropped a photo teaser of his cover back in 2022 and he revealed last night that he recorded 2-3 songs before he settled with I Don't Think I'm Okay. He said the lyrics is what he wanted to convey this days. He recently realized that voicing out loud his feelings can sort of heal him. He also had a fair share of input how the video was filmed and the mood that he wants for it. I really think this song suits his voice. I love how the members seems to have gotten a grasp of their vocal tones and know what songs suits their voices like their song choices for the special performance in fate+.
Every time I listen to Jake singing I get emotional. He has such a beautiful angelic voice which goes straight to your heart. I got teary over the melancholic meaning of his cover. I hope you are ok dearest Jake.
yay! i love his cover :) jake's voice is so gorgeous, it makes me so teary eyed. jake went on weverse live after the cover dropped and said to pay attention to the last line, which is the message that it's okay to be not okay sometimes. he wanted engene to know that it's ok and it's a process, to not be afraid to feel all your emotions. it really fits his vocals well, where he can showcase his tone. i was surprised but glad that he chose a Bazzi song, their voices actually do compliment each other's very well. also it does seem like they are going by oldest to youngest age order for when they release their covers, but i'm also wondering if it just happened by coincidence and this is just the lineup that were ready to show their covers first?... i love all their individual covers because it shows what style/genre they like and also that they know very well the type of songs that showcase their vocals the most, it just shows awareness and intention. praying for that ballad in the next album!
Honestly, it’s such an important message to hear and spread. That sometimes life is gonna suck, sometimes you’re not going to be okay and that’s totally valid. You don’t have to be at 100 percent all the time. What ever order they go in, I’m here for it And give me those ballads!❤

I agree his vocals have improved continuously. He did pick the perfect song and this is a song a lot of people can relate to. He did really well. Hope to hear from Jungwon or Sunoo soon full song covera. :) they did some covers during their fate+ concert and they did so well. Check those out.
