I was beginning to think there was something wrong with my thinking because I am different than my surrounding family and friends . I don't want to keep up with the Jones in exchange for stress or heart attack and non stop working . I just want to live a normal non stressful lifestyle. If that means not living next to the Jones then so be it. But my friends and family think I'm a weird breed .😂
The 'style to which (many) have grown accustomed to' is based on full paycheck spend, and (often) then some. This doesn't bode well for retirement as: 1) their tastes are too high, 2) they have debt to pay, 3) their retirement income is actually lower. There are some who have had a hard knock, but so many not.
Well, one subject they should be serving up in high schools is "economics" or "finance" and teach kids how to budget and save. Of course that won't happen, they have the people right where they want them....in debt and in need. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I had children, I still help them. Now I have grandchildren…. I can be fun. Model Rockets flying away at this time lol😂. My dad passed and my mom is soon to live with me. They have no more cash. Different conversation…… it is what it is. If you have a bunch of cash???? Want to live club hedonism lifestyle???? Cool it’s all good. Travel as much as you can. I’m stuck in America…. It’s not that bad. I’m here because parents and children pick lives they can’t pay for. I could be in Thailand having happy endings massage today! But here I am. Don’t be a deadbeat draw on others that love you.
