Yes guys, after all of the packing, all of the preparing, the cleaning, sorting, organising and planning, MOVING DAY was upon us 🥴 So, Wednesday started very early for all of us and Zoe and I decided to split up for most of the day, with me dealing with the removals and Zoe looking after the children 😊 To be honest, the removals went really well but it was manic, busy, tiring and very emotional especially for Zoe 😢 We still have lots to do in both properties but we are finally in the new house!! A house is not just bricks and mortar it is a home, a place of safety for your family. The walls know all your secrets, the worries and struggles that life has thrown at you over 10 Years, you have created life within those walls 😎. You have brought each new life through that door and created their own little space to grow and dream, I could go on and on but if I do, I will write a book. What I will say though is that, that home has also grown with each year and each new life too, the walls have absorbed all the new born cries, all the giggles and arguments, the childrens laughter, screams and shouts at each other etc. The tears you cried with the new born twins that you just had to get them through a day at a time and look at them now, they have lungs that cld scream a place down. It is emotional moving, but be grateful that you all have each other,you have all moved together but I think that those walls you have left behind may shed a tear or two tonight, it may feel eerie and lonely but just like you it will move on with a new family just like you are doing with your new walls xx xx 😢😢😢😢will soon be 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Ps;- Will you be creating any new life in this in house, I am sure you will practice anyway but remember when you do these new walls will be the first to know haha 🤣😂🤣😂
Some people will think it's silly to get emotional over a house but when you have a lot of memories like you have it will be up setting bless you ❤❤
I can understand Zoe getting emotional over moving house, because she has 12 children and lots of memories.I have 6 so half that amount,I have moved so many times in my life, 11 years in my last house before the one I am in now, but I can honestly say I have never been emotional moving house, the house I am in now, I have been in almost 10 years I did childminding in my last home and did childminding here for 5. I love children, and I have always worked with children. I still have my youngest at home she is 27 and is moving out the end of the year that is going to be the emotional part for me, as my last child leaves home, nothing prepares you for that, I have never really lived by myself. My children are my life and now I don’t feel like a mum anymore, everyone says enjoy the peace and quiet, but I can’t I have been a mum for 40 years, that’s how old my eldest is, there has always been a stream of children in my house never quiet so I will cry so much when she leaves, I have been a single parent for 26 years now, the evenings are the worst, with nobody to talk to. for the last two months she has been staying at her boyfriend’s parents house, in the evenings and he drops her back home before he goes to work in the morning, so they can see how they get on together, she will be moving into his and his twin brothers bungalow, they bought, when it is finished being renovated so there will be 4 adults and a baby as his brother’s girlfriend is having a baby due in 4 months, I am going to be an emotional wreck and I will be downsizing to a 1 bed, I personally cannot wait to get out of this house and start a new chapter, scary and emotional but I have seriously had enough of this house, it’s a new build I was the first tenant and it has been nothing but one problem after another x
My daughter still says our family home was “ace” I never realised at the time how much she must of enjoyed living there.

I've moved over 30x I still get upset over moving, but I've never stayed anywhere long enough to be attached to the house, it's the memories and the familiarity that I miss when one moved.
You will settle in no time lovely and this is your fresh new beginnings 💜
It's truly emotional to have strangers touching your things, not knowing if they will take care as you would. Then there's the memories associated with the emotional side of life lived for 10 years in the "home" you made there. Zoe, just let the tears flow & experience your feelings. Zoe I can completely understand. I moved five weeks before you guys. At the end of the day. You brought home babies from the hospital through that front door. Kids first days at school. Every corner holds a memory. I strangely still think of our old house and cry. Which as you said sometimes I feel silly. But it’s so normal x

You must be exhausted as you have never stopped . Your new house looks great and you won’t be long in making new memories . I know what it’s like as I we were in the Army for 25 years and moved quite a bit as well into different Married Quarters it’s a nightmare but I only had 3 children . Your older girls have been brilliant helping you as well . Happy New Home 😊

I know how you feel Zoey about a house, when I lived in CA I loved our home and the kids had so much fun there. All their friends around this was many years ago and when I think about that house or look back at pictures I get very emotional sometimes.
AAwww Zoe, bless you! I had my last big move 5 years ago, but not only was it a move, 3 of 4 kids all left home at the same time. 1 had already gone, married and had a baby. Losing everyone else all at the same time was so very hard. I remember standing in empty bedrooms with tears running down my face, knowing that even tho this is whats supposed to happen, it was an ending, and would never be the same. You will do ok, you have your family, life will go on and youll make many happy memories building this new home!! Lots of love from the Canadian prairies!

Congratulations on a move well done! I have been in my house for 24 and 1/2 years and I am still finding boxes that we have never unpacked. Before this house we averaged about a move every 5 years. It is never easy but it is exciting at the same time and a new "restart" so to speak. We recently had to pack up my mom's house after her death...this is what got me thru: "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!"
I teared up with Zoe. This is difficult. I can't wait till tomorrow's video.

Ahh I felt so sad watching you upset in the old house. I know exactly how you feel, it was so sad leaving our old home seeing the house that was once so so full of love laughter & all our things so empty silent & cold. It’s such a sad feeling but your new house looks amazing & more bedrooms too so once your settled in I think you’ll love it. I hope your all really happy there ❤xx

Hi ben, zoe & children, i just can't imagine what moving is like for you all. My brain was on overdrive just watching all the move. I would of been going mad trying to organise with 2 children, let alone 12. You are such a lovely family, & i wish you all the best in your new house. Omg this was so emotional to watch too having moved ourselves loads in past between 6 and 18 months about 11 times but in our current rental 10 years in a fortnight's time. I couldn't imagine leaving here. I understand zoe too many memories in every inch of the house. Just wanted to give you a big hug.

Aww bless you all. You made me cry Zoe. It is emotional leaving a house that you've been in for such a long time. When I moved to Elgin from Findochty(I grew up there) I cried and it took me ages to settle. My boys settled really quick but me it took a wee while. Elgin is my home now though and my memories are here. You will all make new memories and I Hope all the kids settle well♥️xxx
I got very emotional 😭 6 years ago when I left my hometown (where I grew up) and i moved just a hour drive away, at 1st I was missing my family and I wanted to go back to my hometown but I soon adjusted to my new home and my new life I’ve met new friends and i love ❤️ it…but you still have ten years of memories and you won’t forget them zoe Ben and kids xx

Well done honestly its so hard moving with lots of kids it’s absolutely exhausting. The thought of moving again with 7 kids terrifies me. Congratulations to you all I hope you all feel settled soon Xx
Aww Zoe I know how you feel, it's very difficult. We recently sold our family home, it was built by my Dad and Grandad in 1949. Its in the same town as my own house and I can't bring myself to even pass our old home, too many memories.
