I heard this song for the first time on Palm Sunday. It is one of my favourites now. This choir sings it beautifully. God bless for sharing your talents! ❤️
Joe Mangano The solo parts are in Latin. It is a chant called "In Paradisum" Here is the text: "In paradisum deducant te Angeli; in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem." May the angels lead you into paradise ; and the martyrs receive you in your coming , and may they guide you into the holy city of Jerusalem. The chorus of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may you have eternal rest." This is from the order of the Catholic Funeral, between the end of the requiem and going to the cemetery.
