This just popped into feed at the cafe... from pleasant...- to Piazzolla, of whom I've heard a bunch. Nice Libertango; played as he would have liked it: "not all tango is for dancing", he is quoted as having expressed. Contrast this performance to Seth A's being shadowed by show tango dancers w/L.A. Phil, and it's back to court days behind a curtain.
While I dig the whole set, esp. vs. the fare today- this one stands out as commendably done, as if I knew anything. I'd try to bring Mr. Asarnow to UCD for something fun- if I'd heard back from those who clear such things. You'd dig his Quinteto Quilombo, to be sure...
I enjoyed this one from UCD especially.
Thank you for posting this! My 14-year-old son and I loved it! Where would we find sheet music for the slower Irish dances and airs played from about 16 minutes? Any other recommendations for flute/violin duets within the reach of intermediate players would be welcome! Thanks!
Is the piece listed as "Irish Dances and Airs" published and available for purchase? Thanks for your help.
Where can I find the music notes in the 29th second?
Is it possible to buy scores from last piece?
