I've watched 7 episodes now. Billy the Kid is entertaining but has nothing to do with reality. This starts with the way the weapon is carried and its accuracy up to the actually decent character Billy the Kids and other outlaws. The usual glorification of the Wild West and its outlaw heroes. But if you expect a hard and dark Western series for adults like Copper, Deadwood or Hell on Wheels, you will be disappointed. Billy the Kid is TV level for the whole family. There is also shooting and death, but relatively non-violent.
Billy the kid was right handed in the picture they have of him he looks like a lefty because the picture were reversed back in the day like looking in a mirror
👆this. It was believed for a long time that he was a lefty based on the one photo of him but it is fact a mirror image as it clearly shows the prong on the belt buckle points the wrong way, and the buttons on the Kid’s vest are on the left side, the side reserved for ladies’ blouses.
*_UTTER FAIL_* of what STARTED as a *brilliant* show about Billy 'The Kid', with tonnes and tonnes of potential! *Season 1 was amazing!* Alas, *_season 2 is RIDICULOUS, annoying, frustrating and stupid!_* --- After the burning house fiasco (escape out the back), utter nonsense, i QUIT this show that just has me rolling my eyes, every 5 mins!!! _Explanations of final straw:_ _The straw that broke the camel's back, for me, was one of many, many, CONTINUING, one after another, idiotic scenes that MADE NO SENSE! UNREAL....:_ _The strategy was very simple: The men inside would provide constant fire to, 'keep their heads down behind that wall', while a small group runs out for the forest._ _[ Of course, realistically, this could be impossibly if the wall was further away, or had holes in it, or angles....but the way it was, this tactic should have worked as no one could keep their head up to shoot IF the men inside kept cover fire, shooting anyone who stood up to shoot ]_ _What happens? Billy and his men, inside, SEEM TO DO NOTHING!!! The 'baddies', behind the wall, have total free reign to just keep shooting... I saw no cover fire for the escapees! 🤬?!!?_ ^ _This was just the last straw - this type of nonsense was constant! The whole season seemed to be just ppl going back and forth doing crazy, idiotic, impossible things that made no sense. NO ONE behaves normally.... I am SO disappointed!_
