Thank you and welcome! Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer!
Brilliant 👏👏👏. I really appreciate your videos. I am an Efl teacher too here in home country, Italy. I live your way of using TPR, how you teach reading skills and the use of PPTs. Your students seem to be so fully engaged in your lessons from start to end. There's still a lot I need to learn:). 👏👏👏👏👏
Like instead of live 👍

Hello, Val! Your channel is growing) It's pretty good!
Yeah, I'm happy I'm being able to grow such a great community around me. I hope we all can learn from each other. There are tons of resources for students but not so many for us, the teachers. We need to stick together!! :)
@@Teacher-Val it's a good idea! I wish you luck! No doubt it will be exciting)
While watching this I miss my childhood, now I realized that teaching young learners is not easy. Thank you Teacher Val. You did a great job
What a sweet comment! Thank you!
Teaching kids is not easy, it requires a lot of preparation and a lot of patience but it is one of the most rewarding experiences ever. :)
Hi Val. You are a fantastic teacher. I recently subscribed to your channel and I can’t stop watching your videos. It’s good to see a teacher in action; it means teaching and it’s what you do. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences. Your videos give me lots of ideas to use in my lessons and how to manage the discipline in my class.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked my videos. It feels great to be helpful.
Great
Love your Heart teacher Val
I love your heart too, Maria! Only a very sensitive person can leave such a heartfelt comment to a stranger on RUclips. God bless you for your kindness!!
Thank you for this vidieo😊🤗
Hi, teacher Val! Thanks for these amazing lessons!Really appreaciate your work! I also noticed recently you added stars above the score section, would you mind explaining how does that work one more time, please? Thank you so much!
The team with the most points gets a star at the end of the class. My helper keeps track of the stars. At the end of the term, the team with the most stars gets 5 points to the final exam score. :)))
It would be great if you could show slides of your lesson plan related to your class on a particular day. It would be of great help. Your videos are gaining popularity in my country. I hv shared it with my colleagues and they just love your teaching techniques n how you approach a particular lesson. 👌👌👌 Amazing.
What country are you from?
If you like, we can arrange an online workshop on a topic of your choice. I'll be able to show you my lesson plan process, my reading skill strategies, teaching methods, and so much more. If you're interested, please write to me @valerijusc@hotmail.com

Hi, teacher Val! I enjoy watching the way you teach the children and maintain the discipline in class. Is it the first year the students teach English? Do you have any curriculum or you can choose what and how to teach? Thank you for your answer.
I teach Grade 4, and it's my first year teaching these children. I have classes with them once a week but they have classes with the Chinese English teachers every day. Yes, we do have a curriculum. We're teaching storybooks focusing on conversational English and reading skills.
The girl on the first table seems so excited that she punches the boy beside.
Yeah, she gets excited quickly. Lol.
My first comment
Beautiful lesson, thank you for sharing. Flashcards duel was absolutely fantastic! I saw it last Friday and tried it in my class the same day. My kids love it so much. We added horses and country music, hats for cowboys. It was incredible. Thank you.
Wonderful! So happy it helped!
Thank you for this video Teacher Val. Love how you engage students and manage the class.
Thank you! Happy you liked it!
@@Teacher-Val Will surely apply the strategy I learned from you in my ESL classes! All the best to you!
@@mariseruc6545 Thank you! Where are you from? Let me know how your class went! :)
@@Teacher-Val I am from the Philippines but currently teaching here in Vietnam. 🙂
@@mariseruc6545 Nice! We have a teacher from the Philippines at our school too. She's teaching Grade 1.
What program did you do your presentation?
Microsoft PowerPoint. Check out me lessons in my store: www.teacher-val.com
Great lesson and the tecnique! The preparation is huuge!
But I wonder what happens when boys or girls lose all their stars? Do they have kinda extra homework or anything else? Cose here where I teach some children can break the rules on purpose to see what teacher would do in that case. Thanks.🌺
Thank you, Olena! My students do not lose stars. They get points for positive behavior, correct answers, and good efforts. I erase points for misbehavior. At the end of the class, the winning team gets a star. At the end of the term, the team with the most stars gets 5 points to the final exam score.
@@Teacher-Val Oh, I understood :) That’s a nice idea. I think it might work with big classes. Thank you for the inspiration.
Teacher Val. Could you make the video for senior high school. The easy way to understand the reading comprehension and answers the questions in long reading.. the example of text report text, explanation text, news item, etc
Yes, I could. I'll try my best to find time to do it.
Good evening Teacher Val, I really appreciate your lessons, I have started watching your videos from yesterday, I am new here. Your lessons and attention of your student inspiring me. Have you got telegram channel? Can you share your materials with us😍
I'm working on a way to share my resources. When I finalize all the details, they will be available for sale. Please bear with me for a little while.
I wish understand anything when you speak English. I am a beginner or intermediate in English so I don't understand anything. Also, I don't have a friend even I can practice the language with him from foreign ; native speak.
I am an Arab and from Iraq. I hope to learn to read correctly. Where do I start? A second request. I hope you will send me a video with the pronunciation of the sound of the letters with the name, meaning each letter of the sound and the name. I am a teacher so that I can play it for the students
Hello! I am planning to make an alphabet ppt and upload it to my store. I will let everyone know when it is there.
How many students are there in your class?
24-25
I decide to do a topic for tomorrow a bout managemant time ..can you help me plz about some idea ut's my first time to talk front of people 🤐
Management time? What do you mean?
@@Teacher-Val time management .to spend our time on value activities.
@@naimanaima2703 I see. Good lesson pacing comes with experience. As children have short attention spans and get bored easily, it's important to vary the activities or rhythm of the class to keep things fresh. :)
Sir,what are you telling with sts,i can't understand it,
Hi.. I couldn't help noticing the little girl with glasses that was bothering the boy next to her 😕
Haha. Little kids will always be little kids. :)))
