There has been so much in the way of negative comments regarding this touring bike since it was introduced 2 years ago. Paul proves 'em all wrong. Who else has ridden one 100,000 miles? This has been one serious test ride that should remove all doubt as to what this machine is-and is not. Aside from the machine, I think Paul has shown also without a doubt the durability of what a man on a mission is all about. Both man and machine are bulletproof and more than ready for the Longhaul. My mother had MS. I grew up watching her decline by the year. I have a level of appreciation for this rider that goes beyond words. Thanks a million, Paul!
northerniltree I think the biggest problem was, the people that pre ordered these, didn’t get them when promised, due to a vender not getting Yamaha parts to build them. They refunded a ton of preorders, and people went elsewhere. That really put the s ales behind, you just don’t see many on the road, yet. I put on about 20,000 miles a year on my bikes, and drive semi over the road, and I can honestly say, I have only seen two of these on the road in the last two years. I think they are a good bike, just couldn’t get them out to the public, I don’t agree with today’s time with the air cooled, oil cooled motor. They do throw a lot of heat in warm weather, but a lot of bikes do.

northerniltree right I get that, but some bikes are by far hotter than others in traffic, had a 15 voyager, that thing was unbearable, very hot, my 16 vision was better, my 16 Goldwing is the best one so far that I’ve had, not that it doesn’t get warm, but tons better than my previous ones. Put 1500 miles on a rented Indian Road Master out west, that was hotter than my GW. Just there was some complaints about heat on the venture, but then again I’ve read reviews on bikes I’ve had experience on, and can’t disagree more on some of their comments. Very subjective, each to his own, I really do like the venture, of all of the Yamaha shops I’ve been to, they have had a hard time selling them. It didn’t help with the initial set back , for the people that pre ordered. Yamaha always made a great motorcycle , I hope to see more on the road!
@@j.t.5826 I've ridden on several cross country trips on other bikes. All had some issues. This new Venture is my choice for many years to come. It was built for all day, all week, all month riding.

Rubber fitting getting loose, plastics worn out specially on my 100k miler. Rust here and there, chromes are in bad condition specially my fatboy. Bought a mint low milage deuce, 30k miles later it looks as bad as my other high milage hd. All of them had some fittings gettin loose, rattles and shit. Oh and the early security system sucks. That one bike with security failure was the most annoying, after a semi short ride, when the bike gets hot, you shut it down and security system activates its almost impossible to deactivate it again. Congratulations Paul on your 100k. You are an inspiration. When I have a little down time, which is not often, I watch your videos on the Star Venture so I get a little 'arm chair' riding fix.
Can't wait till it shows 500,000 Edit... Ok. Going to a different machine soon. ☹️ Maybe Yamaha will do a teardown and show how it held up compared to new specs.
I picked up a Yamaha R6 awhile back to have another sport bike after riding super naked's for a few years. It was my first Yamaha but I am so impressed by this little bike that my next bike will be a Yamaha as well.
I have a 2009 Raider, I have to put on a fuel pump(very expensive) my fork seals are ready for the second set, I am at 27,000 miles right now. I dont know if I got a lemon or not, but it runs great. Harleys are catching up with the speed department, I suppose its fast enough. I am thinking about a Honda Goldwing because of the long distance traveling I do. I also have a Coucours 2012, So anyway stay safe.
I love that my V Star has 6 figures in the odometer space. You are really getting it to drop that many miles in such a short amount of time. Incredible effort.
You're an inspiration. I wish you nothing but the best on your journey. Prayers to you for safety. Truly hope you reach your goal. In these crazy times, your story is such an inspiration. Be safe Paul!
Riding for a Cure! Cudos to You, the Man on a Mission! Great vid and review of the Yammy. I rode an Eluder at 2019 Sturgis and was very impressed! Ride On!!!
Thanks for posting this. What a wonderful testament to the greatness of this bike. It should shut up some of the naysayers out there. I know I love mine more and more each time I throw a leg over the saddle. Good luck on your quest.
Mine was my ever, first V-Twin. I had always owned multi cylinder in line four's, or Goldwings. I wanted to try a V-Twin experience, but did not want to purchase a Harley or Indian. So, how did it go? Well, if this bike had come out four Goldwings ago....I'd probably still be on it...like Paul...coming up to and over 100,000 miles. This bike is so great, I just don't see ever replacing it, other than keep doing maintenance, or if there was ever a catastrophic breakdown. By what Paul is showing here...that seems to have as much chance, as my winning the Power Ball. So...no further concern there...lol. Humor aside, buying the 2018 STVC turned out in hindsight, to be a wonderful ownership experience. Smooth as a baby's bum, tons of tour-storage room, the wife, very happy behind me, talking to whomever she wants on private or invites-me-in Cell calls, loves her ability to control her OWN music sources and volumes...(SHE LOVES THIS!), and the only bike that has that feature...not Goldwings...not Harleys, not Indians...not BMW....nobody by Yamaha's Star Venture Trans Continental....and for that, I don't think my wife WOULD LET ME, sell the bike...maybe trade in for a newer SVTC...but not to another ride from anybody else. Oh, did I mention her loving the heated seats from mid-back, down to that cute back-side of hers. I owned various production year Goldwings in the high $20,000.00's that never ever offered that feature...heat from shoulder blades down to your knees. This bike has absolutely everything a single tour, or tour couple could ask for, for comfort and entertainment integration. Nothing was left out, not even a 12 V plug for if you have heated vests or pants/jackets.
Oh my goodness kudos to you. I have ridden for about 30 years and I figured I have ridden about a TOTAL 100000 miles. And you did that in about a year and a half! My last 2 bikes, for the last 15 years were both sportbikes so much fun on racetracks, but I have never ridden much over 300 miles in any one day. That I would love to do once, to tour across maybe 3or 4 states for several days. I know friends who ride large displacement BMW bikes that will go for week and a half trips doing maybe 3 or 4 thousand miles. Your video deserves many more viewers, new riders should watch this video instead of the many less experienced ( sometimes younger) riders that are more about bloating their egos, and telling you what you want and or need rather than just explaining with facts and knowledge the way you do. I have spent MANY hours watching various motorcycle videos, and yours so far is as good as the Pinnacle of motorcycle videos, a company from I believe Canada called fortnine. If you want to catch a excellent and well produced bike video, watch " how Harley Davidson killed itself" . Ride safe. Thank you.
“Revving the piss out of it”... laughed out loud at that... no real issue, but I was wearing headphones, so other’s reactions were a bit ‘jumpy’ ... great review... just came across your channel... all the very best. Stay well Steve.
I just bought a 2012 Yamaha Stratoliner Deluxe in May and I absolutely love it! The motorcycle only has 5500 miles on it and I am quickly catching up to that in the short time I’ve had it. Looking forward, my wife and I definitely want to get a touring bike in a couple of years and I hope that Yamaha continues to review comments on this channel and others and improves on the negatives. Thank you for a wonderful review.
Yamaha makes a great bike, there is no doubt about that. What amazes me is how it obtained 100K miles with only the bare minimum of repair and routine maintenance. I have always wanted to design a "Century Cycle". A bike that could go 100K with no major failures and just routine maintenance. Looks like Yamaha has already done it. Well done Yamaha and LongHaulPaul! All Hail the Yamaha Century Cycle!
Nice review! I'm shopping for a budget touring or sport touring bike. Started thinking I wanted a Honda ST1100, but kept seeing old (OLD!) Gold Wings for stupid cheap, and considered one of those, but after lots of research I'm leaning towards the V4 Yamaha Royal Star bikes. But your review (and your journey) are both really interesting!! I'm now subscribed and will follow along. Safe travels, and stay away from any and all "vaccines", as those are spawning all kinds of neuro-degenerative and/or immune-system diseases (in addition to the heart/liver/spleen/brain/etc damage, and the "turbo cancers") Cheers from the Great White North!
Awesome video! I have the same bike.Hope I can make it to 100K. I rode the tail of the dragon last summer. Handled awesome. Thanks for the conversation at the Chicago IMS show
I have one just like it and I love it. Never planned on buying one until I rode it, takes some getting used to with the low RPM's but once your on it it's great!
Like you, I've only ridden upright style and was glad to hear the change was comfortable for you. When the time is right for an upgrade I'm liking this bike. Thanks for the great review.
Great video Paul. So much for all the naysayers regarding the direction Yamaha decided to go with the 3rd gen Venture. Great job Yamaha! Love my '18 as well. Best bike I've ever owned over the past 39 years. Stay safe Paul and God Bless!
Paul, just purchased a 2018 Star Venture. As a person new to a touring bike and wanting to put some miles on, I would love to see a video done on the essentials you use when riding this bike! Thank you for what you do for your cause! This video especially pushed me over the edge to go with this bike.
GOOD LUCK Longhaulpaul and many thanks for your review of the Yamaha Venture Tour bike and its always interesting to listen to owners with mega miles on there bikes to give you the skinny on so many mechanical issues with there bikes.
I talked with you briefly either in Columbus or Cleveland, show was over and you were heading back to New York, in the middle of a snow storm, hats off to you!
Amazing video! What a testament to this bike. Most people have never even seen a bike with 100k miles on it, let alone put that many on a single bike! I really like the appearance of this bike in fact, I'm in love but I was nervous about it's quality, but your test speaks volumes! Thank you
Paul I recently turned over 105,000 on my 2011 Tourglide Ultra. It took me 9 yrs. But you my friend, are amazing in your own right when it comes to touring... Good luck in the future and God Bless!!!!! You're an Inspiration to us all... Stay Safe!
And how many quarts of oil did that 105k take ? HD is a status symbol bike, not the best touring option. Paul is right on vibration, torque, factory stereo, SVTC cant be beat. Not for 46k for a comparable HD ... just 26k for the yami. Do a lot of accessories and riding for 20k.
Unless the Yamaha engineers rode the SV around Nürburgring 6,200 times, no other rider has come close to the 100k mark. Good for you, Brother. If that Tene700 doesn't work out, just bang a uey back to the SV. You da man.
And people think I'm crazy for some of the weather I've ridden in! Heck, if it snowed where I live (Mobile, AL) I'd have to think twice about even driving anywhere in my van! I grew up in northern Indiana, but it's been over 20 years since I've had to commute in snow on a regular basis. Sorry to hear you're leaving the Venture for something else. I've had my Eluder now for 22 months but only have 20,000 miles on it (3 months it sat at the dealership awaiting parts/repairs after being hit in a parking lot). Like you, I have no complaints about reliability, comfort, or ergonomics - I did add Rox 2" Risers for a bit more pullback on the bars. My only real gripe is that even with the Medium (fixed) windshield I still get a fair amount of helmet buffeting at highway speeds, and preferring to wear a 1/2 helmet I don't get nearly as much protection from rain/road debris so I'm forced to wear a 3/4 or full-face when I know I'm going to be in poor weather for any length of time. Keep up the great work Paul! You're loved by many.
Great video bro,you are a true rider. I'm looking at the bagger now. 2018 they got them with no miles on them for 14,988. That's a lot of bike for the money, I have an 09 roadglide and I think I will be trading for one. This video helped a lot. Thanks, be safe.
Loved your video and I as well am a Harley guy but that bike is beautiful. My ex wife developed MS after we split up and there is nothing more in the world I’d love to see than her getting better. Keep riding my friend. Subbed.
WOW….Yamaha owes this man BIG. Talk about the best advertisement a company could ask for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video of a any other big cruiser in the snow at 100K miles. That is spectacular. I’m looking into buying one of these, and I’m in the research process of my purchase, trying to figure out why you don’t see more of these on the road. As far as research and feedback goes, I’m as sold as a person can be, without having actually ridden one. Thank you so much for doing this video, Paul!
I’ve had mine for two years now and have never seen another one on the road. I’ve got just under 10k miles on the clock with no issues other than two recalls for a a brake switch and starter issue, neither of which effected my bike but took it in anyway. Headed out on a 1k mile solo trip next month to see some old friends in AZ. This is the best touring bike I’ve owned in my 40+ years of riding, including the previous generation Royal Star Venture, which I rode for 10 years. Yamaha discontinued production of this great bike due to poor sales rather than any failings so they can be had for a fraction of the original MSRP. Buy with the confidence that you’ll be getting a great machine for sure. 👍
@@gabbyhayes1568 I appreciate that, Gabby....that kind of feedback is priceless. Some GREAT deals on these, used. I'll be pulling the trigger here in the next couple of months. Thank you, again. 👍
@@phillamoore157 Just a heads up, but if you wind up buying one from a dealer, make sure they’ve performed the recall repairs. Also, if you buy private party, be sure to take it to your local Yamaha dealer to verify the repairs were done. They’ll run the VIN to make sure as they keep records on who’s completed the repairs. Ride safe.
That bike is GORGEOUS !!!!!!!!!! EDIT : Everything YAMAHA makes is top shelf. Most of my musical gear is made by Yamaha like my bass guitar, and preamp.
Incredible review. Really want an Eluder....might have to find a leftover '18 before they quit these....easily one of the best motorcyle reviews I have seen on RUclips.
Excellent review. This is the way I like to ride, I've had the Victory Sport Cruiser, Triumph Rocket III and now BMW K1200LT. I had this Yamaha Venture on my wishlist. Maybe I'll get one after seeing this awesome review.
That is incredible.. I have a 1998 Yamaha Royal.Star California edition. And I've got it since 2000. It has been a wonderful bike.. I Went to a dealer and I sat down in this bike and what an incredible feel. Unfortunately I am buying a house and that take priority. But it is my dream bike and now that I saw this video I am convinced that this is going to be my next bike years from now... thanks for the video.... ride hard .. ride safe Therog
I like and have always liked the Venture since it came out in ‘18. I test rode one in Daytona for Bike Week and planned on buying one. I couldn’t find one when I got back home to TN. I have no idea why they’re so hard to find in Middle TN. I gave up and traded to a Harley again. I like my bike and will stick with it for a few years, but I have nothing but good to say about the Venture.
Congrats on what sounds like an awesome journey. Coming to your video as a Maxi-scooter enthusiast with a small fleet, I've really got the bug for a cross country tour. I'm currently riding a Yamaha Smax 155cc and I don't baby it in the least. 70mph on the highway at 8k+ rpm and it's bulletproof. Great to see this big Yamaha cruiser make it so many miles, with plenty of life left. Thanks for this video.
You think it's quick and fast? Evedently you have never rode a first gen Venture. They would run circles around this one and that technology is from 35 years ago. Kudos to you for riding that much in that short of time! YOU DA MAN!!
Funny stuff: When I was a London dispatch rider I had many bikes, two of which were Honda CX500’s, on both rode them for 100,000 miles ..then have the engine rebuild, ride another 100,000 miles then out it....same with the next one and both ridden flat out all the time, knee sliding, wheelies and even power sliding....given that the bike is far enough over😉
That is some bad ass riding you do my friend, I wish I can do half what you do, awesome bike, I use to have the 2005 Royal Star and I loved it. right now I have the 2015 Voyager 1700. and I really want to get the same Royal Star in this video. thank you for this amazing video and updates.

We met at Daytona bike week a few years ago. I was touring North America on my ducati multistrada enduro 1200. You told me how great the tenere and that new cruiser were . I almost traded it in but didn’t. That was a giant mistake. My ducati needed an engine rebuild at 25,000 miles.. after that it broke down every time I tried to ride it. I’ve only been able to ride it 3 weeks out of the last 12 months due to time in the shop . Ducati has spent $11,000 in repairs so far. Can’t believe you kept going and my trip was ruined because I bought a Ducati . It destroyed my trip of a lifetime. Next time I’m getting a yamaha . Based on the miles you put on all your Yamahas I know I’ll be able to actually ride it . I had planned an amazing tour but instead only got about 60 percent through it.. after the last repair I tried to do a the iron butt ride to support you but the bike broke down 500 miles into the ride. It took me 6 days to finish the ride limping it home between breakdowns. And yes it was a brand new ducati. best wishes to you and your cause.
Nice to hear a review that goes beyond the pi**ing and moaning about heat abatement issues by a rider who knows his s**t, I've been a Road King guy for years. Goodbye, HD - this is my next bike. How does this compare to a Gold Wing? Great, confidence-inspiring review. Thanks - loved this! What an inspiration you are!
I think that’s a beautiful. Ike and it’s looks good dirty too. I have a streetglide and I love it but I wouldn’t mind adding that Yamaha to my stable. Thanks for the review. Ride safe
I have one, it's at about 26K miles. Only real complaints is the lack of a trunk light, (that I fixed for less than $40), the lack of being able to connect a BT helmet without a third party device, and the mirrors. I'm 6'2" and the mirrors give me a terrific view of my elbows. Otherwise I have loved the bike. My mixed fuel econ runs at around 31 mpg half the time towing a mini mate and half not.
When i started riding 700lbs Cruisers in 1996 i bought a Yamaha RoyalStar had for 10years...Then a Victory Kingpin for 14 years...also 2 different HD Dynas...Hands down the Yamaha RoyalStar had 0 issues...The most dependable problem free Bike i ever owned....I am coming around full circle back to Yamaha...looking for a used low mileage Eluder/Venture...
Excellent review Paul! I can only guess at how ecstatic Yamaha was to get a legitimate long distance, long time, test on their engineering. They can't possibly duplicate your usage results by having engineers ride a new design for only a few miles! Awesome field test!
Great review! I hear people complain about it being air cooled so they won’t buy it ....which sounds stupid.... the bike is going to cool down as your riding . It’s not going to overheat. I’d buy one of these ASAP
Im convinced on this bike now, thanks for video. Since you did real world in all types of weather, can you do a video on the gear you took with you, riding gear? would be helfull for us new touers.
Nice job! I have a Stratoliner that I enjoy very much. I wish Yamaha would have stayed with the Star line of bikes. I have owned a few different Star models over the years and have loved them all.

Paul, best of luck reaching a cure. Hope to see you around Detroit sometime. I am fortunate not to be dealing with an illness and for obvious different reasons than yours I like to ride in weather most road riders do not venture. My threshold is 35F to 95F. I can take rain and sweat. Had not tried snow yet but would not say it is out of the question. It might happen sometime. Anyhow, I was interested on this flagship and I am glad to listen to an honest review from someone that can certainly (with your large experience) ping point the pro/con of it. Jerry Paladino has a review which is somehow favorable and am starting to look into it as a next bike option. Always dreamed with owning a Goldwing, considering continue to stay with BMW but now I ser this one has some serious potential.
Need to find some shows in the south til about April. 😀. So you're saying you haven't had to make a pushrod at a hardware store?...;-) Safe travels, see ya in Sturgis.
In various supposedly non biased reviews, Yamaha is tops in reliability. I know myself, I owned a 1985 Yamaha Venture 1200 four and I got 360,000 kilometers out of it without any major engine repairs over 15 years....just drive shaft and rear ends....engine never opened. I would buy a Yamaha again if I was in the market for another bike. However, at 80 and driving a 2003 Gold wing, I imagine this is my last bike

Can't wait till it shows 500,000
Edit... Ok. Going to a different machine soon. ☹️ Maybe Yamaha will do a teardown and show how it held up compared to new specs.
I have a Yamaha raider and been looking to up grade as I’m getting older good review IM STICKING WIT THE BRAND YAMAHA BABY
I picked up a Yamaha R6 awhile back to have another sport bike after riding super naked's for a few years. It was my first Yamaha but I am so impressed by this little bike that my next bike will be a Yamaha as well.
I have a Raider and a Warrior...both EPIC. Want an Eluder...ibhope theybdont stool making 'em. Yamaha V twins are amazing
One of your best video's so far, great job, hope to see you next month
You're an inspiration. I wish you nothing but the best on your journey. Prayers to you for safety. Truly hope you reach your goal. In these crazy times, your story is such an inspiration. Be safe Paul!
Fantastic!..i saw Brandon biccaso saw you in Chicago.. Congrats on another 100k miles.
Joe Blow I couldn’t agree more. Best touring bike I’ve owned thus far, and I’ve owned a few in my 66 years.
Fantastic journey !!!!!!...look forward to hitting that million-mile target ....be safe !!!
Stay well
Steve.
incredible ride and review, you answered a lot of concerns about the bike. seriously considering one.
I love the Stratoliner! One beautiful machine!
Great review. Looking forward to meeting you in Texas in May and learn more about your MS story.
Safe travels, and stay away from any and all "vaccines", as those are spawning all kinds of neuro-degenerative and/or immune-system diseases (in addition to the heart/liver/spleen/brain/etc damage, and the "turbo cancers")
Cheers from the Great White North!
Awesome video! I have the same bike.Hope I can make it to 100K. I rode the tail of the dragon last summer. Handled awesome. Thanks for the conversation at the Chicago IMS show
Meeting you was a highlight of the Minneapolis INS show. Great video and good luck with the 700. It will be my next bike as well. Ride safe.
Thanks for the great review.
respect man on your 100k Miles. I Love Yamaha and this video gave me more confidence on Yamaha.
Nice video , I started out on Yamaha back in the 70s , never a failure , never left me stranded in the wilderness, looking to go back to Yamahauler !
Inspirational... there are a few more people in England that know about Pauls journey thanks to the Tee Shirt I bought.. Buy the merch people
If I didn't have a big touring bike, I would have purchased this bike based on your review alone. Great job sir!
GOOD LUCK Longhaulpaul and many thanks for your review of the Yamaha Venture Tour bike and its always interesting to listen to owners with mega miles on there bikes to give you the skinny on so many mechanical issues with there bikes.
I love mine! Thanks for all you do Paul!!!
Love the picture of the Triple Nickel in the Buckeye ... Fantastic review
I talked with you briefly either in Columbus or Cleveland, show was over and you were heading back to New York, in the middle of a snow storm, hats off to you!
What a great advert for an accomplished touring machine - 100k with no mechanical issues is something most motorcycles can only aspire to.
My friend have a beautiful gold wing, but he always have nothing but praise for my V star, good to know they can go 100k miles with no problems
Wow, i'm impressed. They should make a couple of commercials for TV with you.
Stay Safe!
How many motor jobs have you done?
Ride safe.
@@gabbyhayes1568 Yup...👍
I’m also looking at 2018 SVTC at my local dealer. This info was very helpful thanks
Absolutely amazing what you have put this bike through Paul, and yourself, lol. Hats off to you , keep it up.
been a fan, now a sub..great review Paul I appreciate most the great work you're doing for awareness of MS
Congrats on 100,000 miles Venture Test Ride.
Thank you for a great review ! I don't think 100,000 miles on that 700 super tenere will be quite as comfortable ! Your incredible Paul !
Excellent review. This is the way I like to ride, I've had the Victory Sport Cruiser, Triumph Rocket III and now BMW K1200LT. I had this Yamaha Venture on my wishlist. Maybe I'll get one after seeing this awesome review.
How can you ride in the cold, great work keep up the greatness of life
I like the "Star" Brand and surely wish I was ridin' along side of you Sir,,, awesome review!!
Keep up the good work......RIDE SAFE
Congrats on what sounds like an awesome journey. Coming to your video as a Maxi-scooter enthusiast with a small fleet, I've really got the bug for a cross country tour. I'm currently riding a Yamaha Smax 155cc and I don't baby it in the least. 70mph on the highway at 8k+ rpm and it's bulletproof. Great to see this big Yamaha cruiser make it so many miles, with plenty of life left. Thanks for this video.
Outstanding Review!!!! Thank you. Gonna go with the Venture!!!
Nice too see someone not afreid of the weather.
I ride 100 mile a day any weather day or night.
Stay safe good luck 👍
You think it's quick and fast? Evedently you have never rode a first gen Venture. They would run circles around this one and that technology is from 35 years ago. Kudos to you for riding that much in that short of time! YOU DA MAN!!
Great Review And Thanks For Sharing My Friend!
100,000 miles in 20 months! That's amazing!
Brilliant review and a top guy! All the best to you Sir and all those who helped you get those miles on the clock.
woo hoo, first! nice video Paul!
dope video breakdown, imlooking into a new voyeger v but this starventure 100k is something special and a peace of mind also
Funny stuff: When I was a London dispatch rider I had many bikes, two of which were Honda CX500’s, on both rode them for 100,000 miles ..then have the engine rebuild, ride another 100,000 miles then out it....same with the next one and both ridden flat out all the time, knee sliding, wheelies and even power sliding....given that the bike is far enough over😉
Congratulations to you, keep on keeping on!
That is some bad ass riding you do my friend, I wish I can do half what you do, awesome bike, I use to have the 2005 Royal Star and I loved it. right now I have the 2015 Voyager 1700. and I really want to get the same Royal Star in this video. thank you for this amazing video and updates.
My dream bike..but its extremely hard to get in europe..but im definitely looking to buy it in a few years..when I'm a bit older
I had yamaha roadstar1600 and it was great bike too
Happy for you bro...
Braveheart! If some day you gonna visit Norway, you are velcome in my place to relax, try polish food and fix bike in my garage. Thanks for inspiration! P.s. I would to see any HD after same distance...:)
100% inspiration. Respect. Well done. Ride safe and ride often. Peace.
I own a Harley Davidson ultra classic Tuesday when the Yamaha dealer opens up.I'm going to look at 1 of these bikes.Thank you
Nice to hear a review that goes beyond the pi**ing and moaning about heat abatement issues by a rider who knows his s**t, I've been a Road King guy for years.
Really like the bike and the looks, wish I had picked that one a few years ago
Nice review...congratulations on your cause.
Amazing! An all year bike and well done
Great review! I hear people complain about it being air cooled so they won’t buy it ....which sounds stupid.... the bike is going to cool down as your riding . It’s not going to overheat. I’d buy one of these ASAP
I’d like to see how it does here in Vegas for a Summer
Im convinced on this bike now, thanks for video. Since you did real world in all types of weather, can you do a video on the gear you took with you, riding gear? would be helfull for us new touers.
Nice job! I have a Stratoliner that I enjoy very much. I wish Yamaha would have stayed with the Star line of bikes. I have owned a few different Star models over the years and have loved them all.
Well, it is a Star Venture and Star Eluder but I get where you are coming from. It took a LOT for us to give up our Strat, but this bike was it.
This guy is a bad ass! Thanks for the review.... solid! I have a Stratoliner and it feels super nice! Air cooled, fuel injected, 1900. I would love that big ass transcontinental!!! Yes!
You are insane. I barely have 100k total if that in my entire motorcycling experience span of 40 years and 25+ bikes. Very impressed, congrats.
My first touring/cruiser was a 1984 Venturer bought it new and it was a fantastic bike
😀. So you're saying you haven't had to make a pushrod at a hardware store?...;-)
Safe travels, see ya in Sturgis.
Impressive review ... wow!
Dude that’s one crazy 😝 test ride ! Even in winter 🥶 yikes 😳!
I'm following you for about a year or two
I'm riding asuper 10 2016
Love this bike
You have a great review on your video
Saying hello from Israel...
He explains why I ride Yamaha pretty well💯👍😎
In various supposedly non biased reviews, Yamaha is tops in reliability.
Nice review .. Thanks
