I think the reason Kibe was so hard to kill as because he felt he HAD to stay alive for Cheza.Then when she died he didn't want to go on living so he just gave up.
I agree He didn't want to live with the depression for the rest of his life. He was only thinking of one thing and one thing only. Protecting Cheza! BTW this is the best video of wolfs rain by far I think...
They aren't cold blooded killers, but if another animal hurts one of their family they wont show mercy. They may not run up vertical slopes or take on spycho nobles but they are pretty badass. ;)
