  • Finally able to get out on the reef and do some bubble and fly fishing. Only able to snag a few little guys but it was definitely worth it.

      I make my own flies but too afraid to make a video. All the experts out there will probably laugh at my technique🤣😂🤣

    was just wondering last night how come you haven't posted any new vids! How you like the Suzuki special vs the Yamaga Blue Sniper 100M??

    • @skainoa
      @skainoa  11 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah…been pretty busy lately so had to sacrifice some fishing time. Hoping to get out there more often.
      Both rods are awesome. I use the Suzuki for a little smaller game but did pull n some brutes with it. Match it up with a 4000 size Shimano reel and it fits perfect. Light weight but strong with a good backbone.
      The Blue Sniper is beefier and can take on bigger fish.

    What size bubble you like using with the fly? Large for bigger pops or mostly depend on the rod lure rating?

    • @skainoa
      @skainoa  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah depends on the setup I’m using. Large bubbles for the mh rods and small for my ultralight rods.

      Mahalo!!!
      With this setup on the fly 15lbs Omilu. Took a lot of big strikes with this setup and it can handle the fight but eventually the fish gets reefed and cuts my line.

    Is the one glove for grabbing the fish better?

    • @skainoa
      @skainoa  10 месяцев назад

      Mainly for casting purposes. I use braided line and it can cut your finger when casting. It also helps when grabbing the fish. Lol
